I am 35. I was a software engineer when I started and I took a wrong career path. Left my job and took yoga. Now I am struggling for money. My wife is another country struggling to earn money. I am trying to support her from here. I don't see many ways in my hometown to earn money. I felt like ok now I will take a bootcamp and join the industry other option for me to drive Zomato. Until I grow something for myself.

I am having around 25 years of experience, all my classmates who have graduated 25 years ago are still working in a better position (both in India & abroad). I am currently working in a technical managerial position, there is no risk for my job. Even if I chose to move I have plenty of offers at this age. I definitely don’t think age is a factor for IT industry since my friends and my seniors who are above 50 are doing extremely well in IT industry. The only thing that matters is performance in any field, you have to have passion in what you do.😊

1. There are people who are really interested in IT , But they might not get right / exciting opportunities . So they do what they get. These people can grow when they get a right opportunity. Else they just do that they get to close Debts / EMIs. 2. Some people get right/interesting roles in early stages who never face a boring phase in their whole career which is only 10 to 15 % of people. These people definitely grow to a greater extent. 3. Just do IT without any interest . Who never succeed in life.

Agree with everything but one point I dont agree, Degree does matter in many places, I did Btech then I did Mtech , Surely a Good organization will pay more for the same role and same exp but considering the degree they will Pay a small amount higher than the Btech guys, So degree matters. And You told Bsc can get the jobs as Btech , Not true in all cases because Some companies dont even consider you if you dont have an engineering degree.
