Just a note, this video was NOT edited by me, it was instead edited (mostly) by a man named Ed who is an editor, and goes by the name Ed The Editor. I reached out to him to edit part 2 of my Dark Souls streams and I liked his work so much I got him to re-edit my part 1 video as well. Then I stapled them both together and stuck it here. Also if you're wondering why it says "sorry" after the megalovana bit it's because I explicitly told him before editing that he should cut that part as it makes me cringe. Thanks Ed.
Jolly's vocabulary has never been the same since the poorly translated mod for half-life. Now to force Jolly to play the randomizer and poorly translated for darksouls 3, I don't think he'll be able to comprehend normal sentences after that lol
@@Siegberg91 I feel like a lot of people fail to recognise this. Playing HL1 mods on hard is a nightmare of poor balancing and almost nonexistent autosaves.
From what I can tell the Half Life mod community is mostly children doing their first mods, manchildren that think they're geniuses and sadists that know exactly what they're doing but not stopping.

Fun fact: the game (cinders mod specifically) knows if you have a weapon or not, and changes the items _ever so slightly_ if you don’t have one. Essentially, the mod knew you were unarmed and was mocking you.
Not only is it -90 levels, but also the level up cost does not change to reflect that, meaning that leveling up is the same cost between deprived and accursed despite the 90 levels difference

If you want to watch the end of Cromulentville 2 stream that was posted a few days ago you can also see Jolly insulting me simply because I commented about his BMW on a different stream. Instead of just replying back that the comment was unnecessary or rude to say or with some other reasonable statement he goes and ropes it into a stereotype about his RU-vid viewers.

Cinders basically re-ignited (no pun intended) my love for Dark Souls 3. I consider it a better experience than Vanilla by far because you have way more build options, and your FP isn't limited to how many Ashen Flasks you bring (Which are now GONE, woo!). Regenerating FP makes weapon arts feel more useful, and magic WAY more useful, but still balanced in the fact buffs/heals make your FP take longer to start regenerating, so you can't just buff/heal spam.
I also dig that they removed the weapon upgrading in the last versions, too. I know many people dislike that change, but personally I always hated the whole titanite system since it made you commit to one weapon and kinda discouraged you from trying out different ones or switching to new ones on the fly.
While this fist to the dick animation is super cool in this context :D I am really surprised why From didnt do a bit better job with the backstabbing animations. I mean, 99% of oponents are a bit taller than the character, so almost all backstabs end up being ass stabs / leg stabs. I mean, if this was just a few enemies it would make sense, but almost all are larger than the player, so why isnt the default animation aiming higher? :D

First off, Ed is clearly a great editor and this is really well made. That being said the editing style is generic as hell and it feels like 30 different channels simultaneously. It was super obvious even before I checked the comments because I got confused about this being the same video as last time that this wasn't the usual style and it just doesn't capture the humor of any of the other videos on the channel. Not saying this is bad or that every video on the channel has to be edited by Jolly (it's been well established that he doesn't have time to do that, so having an editor "on staff" to keep uploads more regular is a great thing), but I'm probably gonna start skipping a lot of videos if the format changes this drastically for the foreseeable future.

This reminds me of when I kicked the ass of the first area of bloodbourn and successfully got to the first lantern without dieing because I needed to spite my roommate who died to the first enemy in the game.
Actually, Deprived is in fact one of the strongest classes to start with. In terms of close combat strength, it's second only to the Knight class. The Club type weapon is extremely OP. Especially the Reinforced Club. Also, you know you can struggle to escape or reduce damage taken when grabbed right?..
I love how the name capped out at "buff o" and he just rolled with it. He may not be good at puzzles, he can't lob a 'nade for shit, but he's great at improvising with what he's got.

Cinders makes it so much better. Otherwise 3 feels just devoid of content and unfinished :/ just like all the others they rushed or had an awful development cycle (like in ds2) where they had to completely roll back the lighting system since the consoles couldn't handle it.
Cinders is a good mods ngl im using the dark pyromancer class and i love it plus after playing ds3 base like 4 times cinders gives me a sense of dread unknown if imma see the usual bonfire or another big ass enemy

jokes on you. I usually play to Dark Souls to relax. Especially if I have a migraine (of course if it isn't too painful). The pacing and the muscle memory kinda makes it very relaxing (not so DS3 because it's pacing is way faster)
I have to use gravity and a cliff to bring down the Master, and Jolly's over here beating his ass down with his fists and a shitty class. I am not of the git gud.
Can't decide if I want to ship Pig-head-man with the lovable sword master, Skeleton-Man with mighty Siegward, or Jolly with big hole in ground. Tell Ed the Editor he did an amazing job
This isn't the cinders mod.....? I'm playing it right now and nothing looks the same. You also shouldn't be picking up Titanite Shards because they're useless in the Cinders Mod
