D. Evil The other day I was AF invading, and I was up against a 3 man gank squad by myself. A red invaded and I was like "ok some backup, let's go!" The red immediately attacks me. I get away with my obscuring ring and the red is instantly raped by the gankers. Like, was it worth it guy? I really don't get these people.
Iudex Gundyr Sometimes it's strategic. For example if it's a 3 man gank squad versus two AF invaders and a red invader, and the red invader is playing stupid and keeps friendly fire hitting both the AF's, it's sometimes better to kill the red and free up that spot for another AF to invade. That's the only time I would attack a fellow invader.
WTF how can you even call yourself an proper invader with a statement like that? the invaders job is to ruin the game for other players WHICH INCLUDES OTHER INVADERS YOU P**** :P
Anyone else get caught up in the combat and the NEED for the stupid gankers to die, then when you tune back in to what Riot is saying, it's "And so he had to raise the shrimp as his brothers since they were his father's anus babies...." It's like the definition of WTF.
Hi, I was one of the shrimp in the hentai re-creation and I can confirm, the lothric knight in the video put in a lot of effort, making me the proud shrimp I am today. He was my mentor and was like a father to me, so it saddens me to see him pass. At least he died doing the thing he does best, squishing traitors like PS.
Seriously, the Grand Archives is such a fantastic level. Even the run up to Lothric is really fun to invade despite the lack of verticality. Really strong enemies and good placement gives you tons of options as an invader too. Unfortunately I've never had a sick cage fight at the top of the level. Maybe some day.
Kazadog I had a beautiful cage moment dry fingered the other day. Two invaders chased me down there. Dropped to the scaffold and great bowed them off. It was beautiful.
I'm rewatching this video in awe of your invasion prowess. It's all the little things you do, like shooting a greatbow into an elevator in an attempt to separate the party. Genius.
The blueberry who goes _careening in_ at 13:25 had me laughing so hard oh gods That whole invasion was a debaucle and a half! Shithead Guts mocking with Applause and constantly summoning more dudes, holy shit am I glad you put him down x//x
First! EDIT: never before in any of your videos, or maybe in *anyone's* videos, have I seen more unlikable parties. It wasn't that I enjoyed seeing you dismantle them, I NEEDED you to crush them under your big, strong boy boot heels. Saint delivered.
Ah so I DID invade you the other day! I was using my in-progress lvl 60ish something character (named Luisa Rey, I think), and first thought 'wow this host actually knows what the're doing', followed by 'and seems suspiciously Saint Riot-ish'. There was another invader, lots of elevator shenanigans...wish I would have played better but it went on for awhile and was def the most fun invasion I've had in awhile. Would love to watch that one back.
The only thing more satisfying than killing a host and his whole entourage is killing traitorous reds. I mean, at least be a purple if you're gonna go after another invader. They were supposed to be the unpredictable ones and not beholden to anyone.
Entertaining vid! Reminds me spider-man's way of speaking. xD speaking of which you probly find me in the comics section right where the the first lothric knight guards what we think to believe is the crystal chime but what he really cares about are the old DC and marvel classics hidden there in the top shelf. Keep it up big boy!
I just found your channel and I love it. We have pretty much the same invader playstyle and weapon preference so I'm picking up tons of tricks. thanks my dude
This HAS to be my favorite place to invade! I LOVE the vertical of the level. The diversity of enemies. The pressure of the boss at the end. The numerous places to hide and plunge attack. You can go in the rafters and hide and piss them off. It is just an amazing level!
Applause. Also it took a few months but now I am intrigued about the music around 11 minutes. I think I already know it, but I can't remember anything other than modified Mozart.
dude, this video is kickass. i hope we see more of that faith build too, love the fashion and love the kit. you could probably keep extra regular firebombs in your inventory and swap them to your hotbar if you ever run out, like you did at 4:40. 20 isn't ever enough :D
One underrated item IMO is the lightning urn. They do good damage regardless of your build, but if you have faith, those things hit like a truck. Best of all, you can carry 20 at a time.
Usually then i see "Guts" on the invasion i read it like "Coward" or an "Asshole". But this guy was pretty chill, interact with invader in some positive manner, and actually deserve respect :)
Right when i heard about mr lothric knights father, i felt i just had to like the video. Its such a tragic story. Everyone that reads this please, a moment of silence
Great map to Invade, and a great time to catch most PvE players. Especially Gank Squads, because of all the opportunities to separate the party, and pick off stragglers.
This is an obvious choice, but seeing you invade and give your thoughts at post-Pontiff Irithyll and Anor Londo would be fantastic. It'd also be great if you'd do another theme meme video like you did at Carthus Catacombs. No pressure, though. The comedy and theme should come naturally and feel right, not forced from request. Always good when you like what you did with your work
A good trick in this area is to use the curl up gesture underneath the crystal sage after he teleports for the first time and then ambush the host from within when he attacks him
2:50 So true! It baffles me why other invaders help a host they don't even know.. who by the way is going to backstab the red if you die. It's satisfying to kill those stupid traitor invaders but it's even more satisfying to back off and have the host and their phantoms waste the red. It's like: "yeah, a lot of good that did you huh red?"
If you like to invade, I recommend starting off at High Wall, and just working your way through each (invade-able) bonfire. You'll almost certainly find new favorite areas you'd never previously considered.
