Great video. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions about playing as a caster in general. I want to play as a pure caster who never touches a melee weapon. I am worried that with the new focus power bar, and with only the ashen estus flask and simple infused weapons to regenerate it, that running out of fp is going to happen often and I'll be forced to pick up a melee weapon. How much of the fp bar does the ashen estus flash recharge? What is the rate of fp regeneration from simple infused weapons? How much fp do you get with about 40 - 50ish attunement? If you have the dusk crown ring, how much does it reduce fp consumption by? As a caster, is this a even problem for you at all? I'd like to be able to spam spells without worrying too much about resource. Thanks.

+Billy Cousins It recharges the same as the normal estus, and both get upgraded to recover more (you dont have to choose wich one you improve) You can really get a decent amount of concentration, in this character l had like 40 concentration. havent seen the dusk ring so l can't tell IMO pure casters right now are only for experienced players, you have to give up estus flask (extra life heals) magic deals very low damage but this is a bug that from said it would be fixed soon (right now you deal far less damage to enemies with one hit of a high rank spell and a lot of faith/intelligence than with a hit of most of regular weapons improved)

+Llys Blessed weapon, it only improves damage by a little, but it also regens hp. There's a similar infusion line, but Idk if they stack.

I'm a Dark Souls noob and played through the game the first time purly strength build. Do I need a staff or something to do these different spells etc? I want to start building my faith and intelligence but I have no idea how it works.

Yes, you'd need a staff to perform sorceries, a chime or a talisman to peform miracles, and a pryomancy flame to perform, well, pryomancies. Though there are some catalyst that can do both of the three spells types.

***** I realize that I can use an ashen estus, but since I'll be in melee I'm going to be getting hit a lot and I'm gonna need healing estus' more probably. I really don't want to have to sacrifice my melee capability for magic use or the other way around. I'd like to get some use out of my miracles other than maybe 3 spells and have to split my estus 50/50.

you need to level up attunment and then attune spells with a bonfire. warriors have 1 free attunment slot i used it for heal aid

Neo, los dos ultimos hechizos que son como maleficios escalan con inte y fe? Porque solo tenian requerimientos de fe D:, y que pocos maleficios hay de momento, a ver con los DLCs.

+PandaStyle07 El sistema de maleficios a sido eliminado y los maleficios que hay en el juego están repartidos entre hechizos, milagros y piromancias aunque el daño oscuro se mantiene escalan como el resto hasta donde yo se.

+PandaStyle07 Yo me fije en la wiki de dark souls 3 que esta en construccion y no es como en dark souls 2 que piden de ambos atributos. Y por lo que vi hay maleficios que solo piden fe nada mas, tambien hay maleficios que piden solo inteligencia. Y lo mas interesante, al parecer hay maleficios de piromancias, recuerdas la llama oscura de dark souls 1? esa la mantuvieron pero ahora agregaron el orbe de fuego oscuro y creo que otra mas. Ahora son las piromancias las que piden ambos atributos.

Neo Wild Seven HD Damn, pyromancy, used to be my favourite class in ds1, the ruined it for me in ds2 and further more ruined it in ds3, because i dont like investin in int. so i gess i'll be doing a quality build, with faith for the extra heals and buffs, lightning spear and wrath of the gods is pretty cool too.

+Neo Wild Seven HD But how does fire bonus scale? In Dark Souls 2, to get the maximum, which is 200 (yet there is little difference from 150 to 200 if i recall correctly), you had to invest much more total points...99 + 99, but only 99 faith to get the 200 lightning bonus...how is it here?

+JeanBaptisteGrenouille Havent done a sorcerer or pyro yet but l would say more or less the same, the scaling is kinda slow, you need a lot of points to really make a difference, is more important upgrade the pyro glove than investing in faith/inteligence for scaling, the only problem is that here you would need some points to use some pyromancies

Neo Wild Seven HD So, now i know that you upgrade the flame like a normal weapon, and that the flame has C scaling in both int and faith. I plan to start as a knight, and make a quality/dex build with faith, with little or no points in int. I would like to know if i can use a blessed gem to make the pyro flame scale more with faith than with int.

Sería tan genial sí hubieran hecho algún arreglo con las magias en general como hicieron con el arco. Correr o al menos rodar y castear hechizos aunque estos fueran los débiles como flechas de alma o bolas de fuego para hacer viable un full spell caster. Aunque algo que por lo menos si debieron haber hecho es colocar un segundo golpe a las magias que invoca armas como el espadón de alma o la guadaña oscura

+Nairod Yarg Hubiera sido genial eso. Igual hay equipamiento que aumentan la velocidad de casteo en Dark Souls 3 por lo que veo, en donde la cagaron muy feo si, es que para aumentar la velocidad de casteo es unicamente subiendo destreza al igual que en dark souls 1.

+Daegon SNK Esto incita a que las build de magia tengan el repertorio de armas full destreza a disposición como las espadas de embestida, katanas y lanzas para no tener que invertir niveles adicionales en atributos que después tendrás que reasignar, claro hablando solo por las magias que no consumen ranuras, ya que las piromancias pasaron a depender de la int. y fe además de que consumen ranuras son cuatro atributos que subir sin quitar claro la vitalidad y el aguante para no te castren en pvp, entiendo que le dan más complejidad pero esto era innecesario, para eso están los maleficios (aunque debo admitir que no sé como funcionan en esta entrega).Se supone que las piromancias le permitían a las builds de habilidad la posibilidad de defenderse a distancia y área además de brindar sus beneficios con solo tener una o dos ranuras. toy trite.

Nairod Yarg Los maleficios dejaron de pedir int+fe. Ahora si hay magias oscuras, solo piden int para los magos, unicamente fe para los clerigos para milagros oscuros. Y piromancias oscuras como bola de fuego oscuras que pide 20 fe y 20 int. Ya no funciona como en Dark Souls 2 los maleficios.

+Luciferarrow you can copy manually the save data, in pc just find the save file and copy in other directory, if you want to use it just copy it again in the original place in the place of the other one. If you're playing it on consoles just use a pen drive and go to application save files and copy the one from dark souls 3
