An exhaustive walkthrough and guide for Dark Souls III (Dark Souls 3). In this series, we will showcase and discuss game mechanics, item locations, boss strategies, enemy tactics, some basic lore,

Sir Green Day is a pretty troubled kid, its not his fault. His dad used to beat him when he was younger. People used to call him bug eyes in school, not a good knickname. If you saw sirs eyes, you would understand.

I know this is super late but I just wanted to point out that if you don't pick up the grave warden's pyromancy tome during the Wolnir fight, you CAN still get it in the room where you interacted with the goblet to initiate the fight. It's just tucked away in one of the corners of the room. Your guides are excellent Blue. Never change.

I helped a host do Wolnir but when we beat the boss he disconnected and I was able to run around for a minute before being thrown out. In that minute I had time to run past where Wolnir was located and onto some kind of bridge with two of the Carthus Swordsman standing on it. I wish there was another way to explore it :(

This is pretty late, but if Knight Slayer Tsorig breaks your Tears of Denial he will perform the 'My Thanks!' gesture like he does normally once he kills you. Just an interesting thing I noticed.

I know these videos are a few years old now, but I just got into DS3 and the whole Souls franchise in anticipation of Elden Ring. I just wanted to say thank you for making them! I restarted my game (cause I was lost,) and then came across your videos and realized how many items I missed. I also appreciate how you take your time to look around at the landscape, ponder lore and read the item descriptions.

I also really think Wolnir is a very cool boss. I know its not like the usual bosses but I thought it was great for gimmick style. Especially when you play blind your first time its quite the surprise and the goblin cutscenes really scare the hell outta you. In hindset it's not a glorious fight but its more about the setting and leadup and being confused and thrown into the darkness of the abyss. They nailed the atmospheric value if this fight. Its not that easy either abd is cleverly done.

18:11 Too linear, what!? First of all, since when did "linear" become synonymous with "bad"? Second, it's not even linear. You can choose which to go to first, Cathedral of the Deep or Farron Keep. You have the choice between, Irithyll Valley, Smoldering Lake or The Demon Ruins later as well. In fact you can you go right to Lothric Castle in the beginning of the game if you can beat the Dancer of the Boreal Valley.

Linear isn't bad. Plenty of linear games are fantastic, if that's the direction that particular game/series chooses to go. However, the Souls games, especially Dark Souls 2, are largely not linear. Dark Souls 3 does have some options, but I did feel, as did many players, that there were fairly large stretches where the player is corralled or guided in a given direction. Please don't get me wrong, I love Dark Souls 3. Absolutely adore it. I would have preferred a few more meaningful choices in terms of where and when to go.

the only thing I can think of, with getting the yellow bug pellets from grave wardens ash, is that maybe they were hunting the skeleton worm from the next area? Maybe there was more than one!

I was thinking the same when I was reading comments after this episode, seemed obvious as the worm shoots lightning, my thoughts where maybe the worms created the tunnels in which they wanted to build the catacombs round . Let's see your thought !! Onto the next episode 😁

Ya know I love every DS game equally but this latest playthrough of mine on DS3, just confirmed for me that DS3 is my personal favorite. They just nailed every aspect of what makes Souls so special to me and the build variety feels much more expansive in DS3. The only real gripe I have is warping to the first real area of the game. Not warping itself but I wish we had to explore beyond firelink to get to the first real areas and ultimately get the bonfire to warp. I just wish there was more connectivity from firelink to the early areas. Besides that, I think DS3 nailed it! Oh and I wish bonewheels werent nerfed because they gave major fear factor in DS1. Well for me at least.

You do some great walkthroughs and one in particular I really enjoyed was""The Surge 2"" that was very helpful. This is a me problem. but it's hard to watch you pretend you don't know what's coming up. It makes me feel like you're treating us/me like a child. Like when a mom or dad reading a book to a kid and acting like they doesn't know what's going on. ( LOL) I understand these are for people who have never played or don't know these games. What percentage of your viewers have experience in these games like me and use the walkthroughs to finish off a playthrough and make sure to get everything. You have a great Channel and do great work I'm just saying 🖤

I know I'm late. But there's an easy method to killing that npc invasion. Just have him fall off the bridge. If you cut to early , no problem, cause he so stupid that he will fall off anyways

The slumbering dragon ring works wonders here! With it equipped I was able to one-on-one all the fast and furious skeletons; even when battling very close to another one it wouldn't aggro unless I get into its line of sight. I'll probably keep using it. With my sorcerer's low Strength (9, IIRC) I had to use the reinforced club (+3, blessed) as a two-handed weapon and it was a stroll on the park; Elana's skeletons in DS2 gave my other sorcerer a world of pain but this time everything was very smooth. You don't need Spook to drop the ledge at the start of the catacombs, just tested and took no damage, as long as I used all the ledges available - to be honest, with the ring Spook is not necessary at all, Hidden Body may be more useful. And finally, the best spot to take on Wolnir apparently is close to his elbow/forearm. He will kill the skeletons before they reach you there, just make sure to roll when he uses the arm you're tracking and to not get too close to his chest (instadeath as you advised) - he didn't use the breath attack against me, though, or it didn't got me at all (I was aim-locked in his hand dropping Fire Orbs like crazy).

Hey Blue, great video as always. After watching a lot of your videos, I know that you don't like to play as a "bad" guy even if you have to take that harder route to fulfill the quests n all. So let me just point out that if you kill Wolnir by breaking his bracelets, he don't die instead he is dragged into the abyss. A better way would be to break two of the bracelets and then truly kill him. I mean, the description of his souls clearly show how scared he was of the abyss, so you would be doing him a favor.

Wait, one last thing I just thought of. That pyro that boosts damage from lots of attacks , combine that with pontiff left eye to boost it but also use that wolf curve sword as well cause it will also boost the attacks

As a sorcerer you can kill wolnir without waking him. Pestilent mercury. Just stand by his hand and cast it and it eats away at him quite quickly.

Hawkwind has never been found in the graveyard for me. He did yield the ring at the shrine, but has never gone out to the cemetery portion.

There is an item you need after the catacombs that can only be found in the cathedral.

I've never gotten the Falchion to drop in any of my playthroughs, is it a rare drop? I have been playing through the catacombs with the executioner great sword (strike damage) and using the gentle prayer. The greatsword seems to do enough damage that the skeletons don't come back and the FP gains from the kills keeps me topped up such that I didn't have to use an ashen estus flask.

I wouldn't say it's a rare drop, but it is uncommon. You'll get loads of Titanite Shards, Kukri, and Scimitars before you find one typically. I have actually had better luck getting it from the skeletons in the cave in Undead Settements. I think I've gotten 2 off of them before, without farming.

Hmm, I thought to start with it wasn't in the game till I was reading the wiki. I've gotten a scimitar on one of my playthroughs. I seem to be getting the short straw with drop rates, even when I have upped my luck and used the gold ring, symbol of ave and the crystal sage sword. Your playthrough is making me jealous of the drop rate..

It's funny because people said the same thing of my blind playthrough. I have never leveled my luck at all on any characters and rarely use item discovery items, and yet, I seem to get really lucky with my drops. Sorry. But I'm not actually sorry ;)

They do stack, but the effects of the Chloranthy Ring (or the Grass Crest Shield, for that matter) are very small compared to the Green Blossom, so it almost appears that they don't stack. You finding a Falchion down there is actually just a coincidence. You must have broken the bridge when skeletons were running across, right? One of their corpses had a Falchion. I just ran through that area a few minutes ago and there is no guaranteed Falchion. :)

+BlueLizardJello I found a interesting thing about Wolnir. If you go behind him on pc, You can see what maybe Grave Lord Nito in his lower half. You have to use cheats to see it though. I wonder if Wolnir has some connection to Nito.

The Drang Hammers are located in the Cathedral of the Deep, on a corpse in the sludge around the Giant closest to the boss. You pick up the Dragon Armor set, Drang Hammers, and a Pale Tongue in this pool.

You can't even enter Irithyll without going through the Cathedral first. You need to obtain the Small Doll from the boss there, and you walk right past the Drang Hammers to get to the boss in the Cathedral.

Another good video Blue! From my experience, at 19:00, you can hit falchion skeleton with a jumping attack. In addition, I didn't know about the existence of the second archer skeleton in the corner right before that drop haha :D (somehow it never attack me and I never notice it).About the boss fight, I find it very easy for unknown reason since I aways manage to kill him before he can summon any skeleton or use hit sword even in NG+3 with my Artorias's GS. There is one thing that I do not understand is the divine auxiliary effect of Artorias's GS in this game. It used to be able to prevent the skeletons from revive in DS1 but right now in DS3 I used it and the skeletons still be able to revive (it still does extra damage to the boss though).

I forgot to telll you this Blue: The headless skeletons can parry then land a visceral on your face if you attack them when they use there weapon shield (see 11:11) like what they can do in DS1.

Um, you missed 2 entire areas kid. The lake and the lower catecombs where the fire demon is. The 2nd bonfire is down there. You said there's only 1 bonfire and you're wrong. You really should know what you're talking about if you want to make these kinds of videos. Unbelievable

Sir Green Day I bet you’re fun at parties. For walkthrough purposes, I count areas from the beginning of the zone until the boss as one area. With that logic, there is only 1 bonfire in the Catacombs. Semantics aside, does this bit of information actually hinder a new player as they watch these videos? It sure doesn’t.
