Just finished my first attempt at speed running the game (3.52.02) and can't wait to try imitating some of the things you've done although duke skip is frustrating hard for me. That was amazing, watching a master at work
Why did you pick a woman? The duplication glitch only works on female characters if they wield their weapon two handed, but does that change anything more? I feel like you took quite a few damages in lava for exemple, or is it related to the OOB? Or is it just for fun?

Why do u sometimes lift ur shield while running, isn't it slowing down a bit the stamina recovery ? And is there a chance that pinwheel drop the mask of the child ? Allowing u to improve the stamina recup ? Beautiful run, congratulation !
Hey there, i'm studying your run because i'm planning to seriously start streaming and plan to speed run at times. A quick question, are there any mods you have installed? I keep hearing about this DS fix and am not sure if it is required or if i can speed run normally with the base game.
Wouldn't it be faster to just kill the knight in Undead Asylum and loot the Estus flask and key? He dies in one hit. Just asking cause I'm not sure. Awesome run though. +1
IGT means "in game time", so yes on this run it's in game time that counts. Although some people count out of game times too, it all depends on who you ask.
It really kinda weird to me that speedrunners care so much about a few seconds. I think it because I can't beat the game under 10 hours let alone 44:24 minutes lol
yep. basic Any%. the any% kiln glitch is its own record but i dont think anyone really cares for that one anymore since its been patched for a loooooong time
Far as I know, Kiln Glitch is patched out on Xbox 360. You can still run the glitch with a physical copy of the game, if you don't download any updates.

Actually, the comment you answered to is quite old since now kiln skip has been found to be possible on all 4 plateforms with a new method (PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and even PC). Here's a link explaining all different ways you can kiln skip with videos and stuff : speedsouls.com/darksouls:Warp_glitch And to answer your question, doing the actually kiln skip doesn't mess up your file in anyway but killing Gwyn will trigger the next NG.
Get this run any better and you'll have to start searching for a faster route! I feel like you're getting to the point where you won't be able to improve the current one.
