I also did a similar type of run in Dark Souls 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eYm9e-8J580.html Full livestreams: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hY3CpReNJgw.html Pike Charge Only: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8D5Kx_5cJns.html 0:00 Intro 3:00 Loop-de-loop 3:33 Early Game 14:34 Mid-Game 27:18 Late-Game 34:27 The DLC 47:46 End-Game Discord server: discord.com/invite/9wmc2AV6fJ Patreon: www.patreon.com/presscontinue
Having the Stray Demon kill Oscar the second time is especially humiliating, considering the Asylum Demon is the one who mortally wounds him the first time.
I never used this weapon in DS1, but I do remember having fun with it in PvP in DS3 when it first launched. I lost a lot, but I got a few messages from people saying they couldn't stop laughing, so that's a win to me.
It took me most of the video to realise when you were saying the 'pike charge only run' that that's what you were saying. I kept hear 'pie charts only run' and was absolutely mystified by what that could be hahahaha. Excellent run!
Fun fact: Wanderer is the only class other than Pyromancer that doesn't get short-changed on its soul level. Pyro and Wanderer both would have 86 total stats at SL1, everyone else has 82-85.
I love how consistent of a problem the lock-on in the Four Kings fight is on this channel. For those who don't know: their lock-on point is on their upper chest, and the fact that they twist around so much means that the point will often be to the side of, or even behind you, making strictly forward facing attacks very unreliable.
@@An_Entire_Lime You never had any problem when fighting enemies with the lock on camera in a souls game? like how the camera had a seizure zooming in and out while it's close to a wall, lock on randomly unlocks when the enemy jumps around, etc? you must have a very special copy of dark souls then
I love how logical it is to have a mechanic like this, but how comical it was implemented for this weapon, and how little they cared to carry it forward
I like how challenge runs like this show that you can effectively make like a JRPG protagonist and flail your way into killing the creator of existence. Doesn't take skill. Doesn't take some godly weaponry. Just takes fumble after fumble. After fumble.
It may be that "unique" enemies don't reset when sitting at bonfires. I remember the black knight in Undead Berg chased me all the way to the bonfire and refused to poof when I sat there. First playthro memories aaaah.
That is correct. Technically the game is respawning all of the enemies that are reset at a bonfire. However non-respawning enemies aren’t affected by that as the game will never respawn them. So bonfire resets don’t affect them.
You can't believe how happy you made me as soon as I've registered you actually renamed the name above the bosses health bar to fork kinks You're just the best
I love the speed up applied to the music. It reminds me of the days where I would press the play button halfway down on the tape deck to make it play fast
Pun after pun after pun was hitting me hard. In a good way. Your ability and the creativity in some of the jokes is outstanding. Makes me think your intellect on top of however you got good at English is where a lot of that comes from. Like, you have much different perspective, wiring, and flexibility in thinking about what words to use/combine and when. Some of the puns catch me by surprise and sometimes it takes a while for me to get. That really makes your work unique and great. Was happy to catch some of this playthrough live. Congratulations on beating this game, again, with another piece of equipment I never heard of. Press has serious diligence.
I find it impressive on where I think he's managed to break the game totally and run out of things to do, he always manages to come back with certified bangers like this and I become *gobsmacked*
Good lord the WORD PLAY! You good sir, have once again made quite an entertaining video. I love modding the pitchfork to make you fall everytime, such a silly idea
Nobody will see this comment and as such I can use it as a confessional, I have committed repeated tax fraud and am also still upset remembering that the gold coins in ds1 look pretty but have literally no purpose
Funny enough, the first time I beat the game I used the pitchfork. I was playing on a crap laptop at 20fps as a mage and I just couldn't handle Gwyn, so I put on a shield and used great magic shield so that I didn't take any stamina damage and just poked him to death.
It is insane how press gives himself a challenge which most people already couldn't complete, and then add extra modifiers just to make it even more painful??? wild.
Howdy Press, Once again u leave me in Awe at your God like Skills in this Game. I know its comes from hrs and even yrs of Practice and dedication but still. You just make it look so easy. Watching you Use the pitch fork makes me wanna play DS3, Had to sell that for some extra cash few months back and Cant wait till I can get it again. Thank you for another entertaining Video. Life has been pretty stressful lately so your sense of humor is always a welcome positive to my day
Hey Continue, i love your content especially on fromsoft games, i was wondering if you have plans on playing Armoured Core 6? I love the angle and light you shed on even the most frustrating situations with puns and witty quips, i’d love to see your take on that game!!
holy shit this man has jokes, I don't think I've ever heard any script on youtube as genuinely clever with the puns and callbacks. So call me a masochistic recordkeeper cause imma sub scribe
The scareplow met the Tin Golem and afterwards he plowed his way through the golden paths of Anor Londo towards the not so coward Golden Lion and hopefully the Gwynzard of Oz
I’m Ngl this is my favorite spear in dark souls and my second favorite weapon in the game after Grant tbh it’s a really good faith weapon if you make it a divine weapon and it’s OP af
The Scarecrow only has a gun in one scene - the one right after they’re told to go kill the Wicked Witch of the West. The Cowardly Lion is also holding a big cartoon hammer, so the implication is that they all got geared up to kill the witch. Picture the “Guns, lots of guns” scene from the Matrix, but with Scarecrow instead.
