Lmk if you guys liked this! Thinking of doing these races as a weekly thing with different rulesets each time. Next week we're planning on an Elden Ring Bingo race (5x5 board of random objectives, first to complete a line wins). FINAL RACE TIMES BELOW Aggy - 2:58:52 😎 Ainrun - 4:09:13 - twitch.tv/ainrun CBD - 4:45:16 - twitch.tv/itzCBD Domo - 5:12:28 - twitch.tv/captain_domo Josherino - DNF - twitch.tv/yojosherino
This may not be true but I think all the bell bearing hunters are the same guy. Elemer of the briar. If you read his lore he is hunting down the merchants. They also all have the same sword and move set. There is only one executioner sword in the game and it is held by Elemer. I think that he is just out hunting the merchants at night and they have gone into hiding at that time because he is after them. I could be wrong but it makes since lore wise that they are all him. He is has sort of gone rogue and is hunting whomever he wants. I forget all the details but if you read the lore on the armor from him, the shield and the sword it all kind of makes since.
The dragon fight that replaced Radahn was epic. Especially with the summons and the scaling. It felt like a massive group effort to take down an amazing creature.
Not an amazing creature, borealis is the worst. His ice breath is a long range of the gargoyle poisonnbreath, that procs frost instead of poison. Any other modern dragonnin the game is easier, id pick ekzekes over this guy borealis any day. The astetic is very cool though, i agree on that, just wish it was a different dragon
@@blitz7488 borealis isn’t even that bad. The only bad thing about him is the huge aoe frost move that basically insta kills. Besides that his whole moveset is a basic dragon moveset and is fairly easy. His aesthetic is nice and his frost is sick as well! But me personally i would take borealis over ekzekes any day. Borealis is way easier in my opinion.
Dope run, god seed but still good job finding the route. Clutched that bellbearing hunter too. The competitive races are fun to watch, more soon please!
Love seeing Captain Domo in this video. Been watching him ever since he did Dark Souls speedruns so seeing him take part in this was absolutely amazing
2:31:07 contrary to what you might initially think, Elmer of the Briar has less health than the Caelid Bell bearing hunter; which happens to deal more damage as well… scaled up to fire giant😐 Loved the race Aggy! Would love some competitive trash talk next time
One of the things I love about streams going up on YT is it doesn't stop people being incredibly stupid in chat and saying completely insane shit about what something does or where it can be found.
It is 15% damage reduction, you're taking exactly 15% less than you were prior to drinking the physick, but that doesn't translate to +15 flat absorption because that'd be way more than a 15% reduction if you already had high absorption. e.g. if you have 30 absorption that means you take 70% damage, so the physick gives you +10.5 absorption, since 10.5 is 70% of 15.
i saw this video an was like "oh cool aggy doing a race" click onto the video an find out im apparently 2 hours in already... i dont know when i watched this LOL
So they're all playing the same seed which basically means all enemies and items are random but the same between worlds. It'd like 5 people playing the same random world basically.
I thought for radham when he did his meteor move, he’d just get stuck on the roof of the building and die, super funny seeing him blast through the ceiling
Ok, I know this is a 10 months old VOD and I know I'm about to address a twitch comment that was said in passing... but this needs to be said. 01:38:45 "Fextra is also pretty accurate for the older games" Yeah, because Fextra piggybacked off of the incredibly reliable information found on the Wikidots for DeS, DS1 and DS2 and the Bloodborne-wiki. And now that no one really tests stuff like they did back in those days, Fextra no longer has reliable information to piggyback off of. I just had to get this off my chest. No one's gonna see this, but it's off my chest.
Aggy says it's weird to use maus and keyboard for Eldenring. But what's the Problem with mouse and keyboard? Like is there an objektive disadvatage or is this just preference?
Definitely need to edit this into a main channel vid with all the POVs Something like "I challenged the BEST Elden Ring speedrunners to a *RANDOMIZED* race..." or "Elden Ring randomizer but it's a *RACE* to beat the game..."
Does anyone knows where I can find all graveyards locations ? Because everytime I launch a randomizer, I forgot some or discovered others and I searched for maps or posts with locations but I haven't found any yet. Thanks a lot and great gameplay !
I could be wrong, but im pretty sure for bh arc will only increase like the percentage or something small, it might also do nothing. FExtraLife is like wikipedia btw anyone can put shit on there. Arc does effect rob bleed becuz the ash of war's build up scales on arc, but the normal attacks on the weapon arent affected as muxh by the arc.
Even with how insanely overturned some of these bosses are Aggy is cracked. That run was so good up until dragonborough BBH easily one of the most aggressive and hard bosses in the game.
I may never understand how to properly roll on this game. I always see perfect rolling with zero hit’s constantly when I roll it’s either way too early or just too late and it kills me not being able to tell
Not sure why I like watching randomizer races but I find them really fun. I have played a few myself but mainly super metroid randomizers. Cant wait to try one of these elden ring randomizers. Cool video
I’m frustrated that we can’t summon any boss we want in end game.. cause I got issues with some bosses like the bell bearing move set and it would be helpful for training
Ds2 and ds1 set a bad precedent for kb&m controls. Modern fromsoft games do it justice, and its purely up to personal preferences now instead of controller being mandatory
I play in 1080p so there wouldn't be much benefit to that. I can try bumping up the bitrate a bit to hopefully make future vids less crunchy-looking though. RU-vid compression is rough lol
@@LilAggyVODs It actually helps a lot if you upload higher than 1080p on RU-vid since 1440p and 4k uses a different codec system than 1080p and below. So even if you record in 1080p or stream in 1080p uploading in a higher rendered quality makes the videos still look better than uploading in 1080p. Overall though just 1440p would be enough to use the better codec on RU-vid "VP9" since 1080p and under only uses "h.264" or you could go overboard and upload in 4k to use the "h265" codec. What most people do is play in 1080p and record or render in 1440p to get the higher options available.
