I choose to believe that Smough is actually incredibly slim and lanky under that armor and that he only wears such an absurdly oversized set for intimidation. Like, think along the lines of the mimics body type.

Considering how Aldrich "bloated like a pig, then softened into sludge" and Smough was also a cannibal, I think he was already halfway there... (I know it's more the goddamn armor, but you can't deny that it makes sense, as much as Dark Souls lore allows for that...)

Just had the vision in my head of an animated video, Ornstein playing a spear shaped guitar sparking with lightning, Smough on drums made of knight's helmets. Deacons of the Deep singing the chorus, with a couple Channelers dancing like crazy. Wish I could animate it, or bug The Pruid into it.

I want a mod where it's only fighting The knights of gwyn and smough all in 1 boss room and the only summon is Solaire and when you fight Gwyn he resurrects the spirits of his knights that are one shot and do little damage so he can deal out big damage

Undead Warriors: A Dynasty Warriors-like game featuring every important character in Dark Soul Series, commanding all sorts of normal mobs depending the leading character (Ornstein would command an army of silver Knghts and giant sentries). This would be the theme of Ornstein when you play him in Anor Londo.

Ornstein is captain of Lord Gwyn's royal guard and the 4 knights of Gwyn, Smough is Gwyn's personal executioner and torturer, he also happens to be a cannibal, so basically ornstein is a legend and a leader who is now alone to defend an empty throne with a deranged psychopath.
