gotta love how it is virtually impossible to catch any of these without relogging since they run away if you merely break a branch somewhere nearby, even with the magic thing that reduces your noise
I’m right there with you!!! I pretty much remember everything else about the game except for the Great Hollow. I guess with no real enemies it doesn’t imprint on your brain as deeply as harder areas. 🖖🏻Live long, and prosper Don’t you dare go hollow..
save quitting only worked for the first couple times for me n theyre not respawning for shit now idk how these ppl get so lucky, makes me feel like it got half-assed patched
I don't think item discovery affects drop rate of rare items. Rather it affects how often an enemy will drop any of its items, and Crystal Lizards already have a drop rate of 100%.
may the flames and the great lords guide you , you are a brave warior, whatever thank you for this video, a wis allways wondering about those cristal lizards
only a genius could think of marking the spots and carry on ( pinpoint accuracy btw ) instead of showing the whole tedious quit and reload process until the fuckers show up, thanks for the awesome guide
The best method to get them (in my opinion) is if one manages to slip away, Homeward Bone back to the bonfire up top and rest. Go back to the location where it was and save and quit, then reload the game (this is the only way to get them to respawn; going to the bonfire pretty much wipes the slate, but quitting then reloading is the only way they'll actually come back; both steps are required). If it's not there, quit and reload again. It may take a few tries, but it will eventually spawn in. Once it does, immediately attack it. Two hand a big weapon and go to town on it, or use a powerful spell. Just systematically go through them, one by one, until all ten are dead. They're weak as fuck, by the way, anything will stagger them.
forest hunter honestly, if you wanted to go that route, you could get a slab from every one of them. Might take a while, and you'd have to be careful, but it could be done. Shame is, I'm not that patient!
forest hunter damn, makes me think I probably shoulda held out. Oh well, next playthrough I guess. 3 slabs with an hour of work is still faster than Darkwraith farming lol
I havent been to Anor Londo - Hence i cannot fast travel! How do you backtrack upwards the tree when being at Ash Lake & i need to go back? Idont see any ladders after the 2 layers... Nor do i see any branch that is walkable Upwards. Do i have to progress through the 2nd tree at Ash Lake?
i think the trick is to make sure that when u reset u face ur character away from where the lizards will spawn numerous times ive stood next to them and reset and they never appear only when your out of the vicinity and facing away from them will they spawn. also say the first long tunnel bit if your just waiting for the one that usualy spawn at the front becuz i found him to be the most difficult.reset all the way at the back of the tunnel facing away from him and when u go to get him walk SLOW
you need to save and quit and enter the game again until they respawn, I can confirm all the locations in the video and you can kill them all once at each prism stone he marked
@MizticZz no, only once per playthru . Quit and reload until the lizard spawns if it doesn't appear. It can take a few tries sometimes but they will always spawn. Having 10 or more humanities and the ring will increases your item find rate to max. One time i got three slabs, another time zero slabs. It's very random.
lol that sucks. I had sort of had the same thing. Got 2 slabs with my sl1 character when I already had 2, but for me they are still somewhat useful. Try to get a buddy summoned in your game you can trust, give him the slabs and switch to your knight and repeat the process. 4 slabs for your knight
Thanks for the guide, I managed to get two slabs from the last few lizards I missed the first time I went through. Also, for anyone who cares I was using the gold serpent ring with 10 humanity while human.
