Dark Universe is the coolest thing Universal has ever done! 

Does this mean Brendan Fraser will finally get his coffee?

I say its about time that Universal is paying tribute to the Universal Monsters with year-round attractions. I agree that the Wolfman and the other Universal Monsters should be added to the park's attractions, along with Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, and The Bride that's already walking around. Plus would also be funny if they included a way for The Invisible Man to be causing mischief in the hunters' tavern.

I think my favorite part is not the rides but the burning blade tavern it's such a iconic part of Frankensteins history and universal it's just so extra that it bursts into real flames every 20 mins or so

I wonder how deep into the rogues gallery are they willing to go. Jekyll and Hyde? Ones that never get talked about like Metaluna? We already know there is an expansion coming that looks like a Black Lagoon water ride.

When I was a kid growing up, I was obsessed with Universal Monsters. I read Frankenstein and Dracula and would peruse TV Guide to see if any channel was running them. Once in a while, our local movie theater, which was once an old Vaudeville theater, would run some of the Universal Monster Movies and my friends and I would go. I had every Universal Monster on VHS, then DVD, and now have them on Blu-ray. I have always dreamed of this. I hope they expand to included a water ride featuring "Creature from the Black Lagoon," and an Egyptian themed section for "The Mummy." We are going to make hotel reservations for Samhain (Halloween) within the next couple of days.

You expect that this land’s environment is dark and greyest macabre but with Curse of the Werewolf it has colorful lanterns which makes it a beautiful setting.

The dark universe details are EPIC!!!! And I am absolutely ready for this new theme park. They put so much thought and care into the dark universal attractions and restaurants. There giving us horror and it seems it’s going to jump scare me if it doesn’t scare me there doing something wrong.

Ok, I might’ve slept on this land when it was first announced (mainly because I was excited for Super Nintendo world), but now this is a land I’m gonna have to explore cause I’m a horror junkie!!!

My guess with milava (sorry if I miss spelled that) is that either she’s someone who’s inherited the name, or maybe she’s been revitalized through some weird youth restoration something or other (this the same world where there’s curses, invisibility serums, and life giving lighting so it’s not exactly implausible).

It's gonna be too amazing for words.

It is about time that they do something to celebration the time of Universal Monsters! They deserve be in the dark universe!!

Honestly pumped for the fall spooky tavern vibe. This is the park I would have drinks at.

This land makes me thinking of sitting in the basement as a little kid and watching the Disney attraction VHS that had Tower of Terror on in over and over. The dark ride and DK Coaster will be best attractions here I think.

Dang. I'll never get to see it but I'm sure I'm one of many whonwould stop everywhere and just put my arm up like it's around someone's shoulders and say I keep running into the Invisible Man.

They made a nice comeback when I was real little in the early nineties. Then went away. But now they are truly getting what they deserve.

We do need the dark version of universal studios and it's dark universe even we know we get Halloween horror nights that's only are dark version of universal studios around Halloween around October

You should check out the creep show episode Bad Wolf Down. Basically about american soldiers that let themselves get infected with lycanthropy so that they can kill a bunch of nazis. Each soldier turns into a different cinematic werewolf. You have The Howling/Dog Soldiers, The Wolfman, and The American Werewolf in London. All practical effects as well and first time I’ve seen the different werewolf types on the same screen.

That's great and all...im excited as well......But it is Florida ..Creature of the black lagoon also deserve his own ride....maybe very lush like the jurrasic park area but possibly a raft ride like Popeyes rafts....

P.S As it's taking FOREVER for a Creature from the Black Lagoon horror movie to come out I saw in my local comic shop that there is a Creature from the black lagoon 4 part comic happening. Got 1st two parts, but I'm saving for all 4 parts so I can read them together. Want a movie but this will have to do for now.

i’d hope they’re maybe planning on a dracula ride eventually, maybe they’ll do stuff like play rock music sometimes for special events and feature movies like the lost boys for special events too sorry, i’m just excited :)

Im just going to say it: Im very dissappinted theres no Black Lagoon water ride. I mean c'mon a boat ride through the black lagoon like Jurassic Park or Jaws with The Creature popping out of the water from time to time; Knock Knock - who's there - Missed Oppertunity!!!

Most of it looks good, but I'm puzzled by why they'd put a kiddie coaster in there instead of a thrill coaster.

I was extremely excited about this section of the park until I found out that they are changing the looks of the monsters, I mean once they done that they are no longer the Universal Monsters are they? The versions that we know and love from the older movies. We are now getting Spirit Halloween versions of these characters. How hard is it for Universal to get the likenesses for their own characters?

Also, what's your opinion on this, Mine is as The Mummy (2017) was meant to be the first movie in the Dark Universe it was a BAD start lol, but I think The invisible Man would work as a great start. Make it serious and dark. No comedy. Bring in monsters like the creature from the black lagoon who I would have James Wan make it, or whoever made DC's Swamp Thing season 1! I would recommend it. It's very dark, feels almost very horror, no sillness. great story and acting and almost looks and feels like a Movie then a TV show. Also David Slade for a Vampire movie after his take on 30 days of night. The monster verse with Godzilla and Kong is doing well, Why can't we get the dark universe going again? :( Tho like with the MCU and now the Monster verse, why are they becoming silly lol. they started off dark and serious lol

I'll pass on the Jack Daniel's Hard Tea. DOS XX'S , TECATE, BLUE MOON or heck even an iced cold A&W ROOT BEER would be better! 😁👍🍺 anyway ... CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON boat ride where a GIGANTIC "Gillman" pops out of the water at you would be EPIC af! 💚 ... similar to the OG JAWS from the Universal Studios Tour Ride. FUN VIDEO 👍👍💜
