Imho, she's completely underestimated. Her guitar skills are incredible and her vocals are divine. And she does not need fucking distortion on her microphone, because of her brvtal singing! A trve Goddess...
I love that they play clean, precise and have a sense of melody. Like Immortal, Emperor, Ondskapt and so many others. All without compromising their immovable darkness.

You do realize of course, that there are Christian bands that look and sound just like this, albeit without the upside-down crosses. Frost Like Ashes comes to mind.

Pantherex 1 As far as musicianship is concerned, without a doubt. Still, I think Myrkur does a great job at creating atmospheres and blending in a lot of folk in her music
They're not going for the same sound. This is pure-trve-kvlt shit, which I adore. Myrkur appeals to people who love tha marriage of folk music, BM, and modern techniques. There's enough room for them both and I could care less about who's more heavy, authenticity is real in both cases.
