I don't have all the achievements. Some of them want you to fail at the game. I'm not going to throw the lives of 2 year old characters away just for some steam achievement.
Thank you! Yes, Invigoration at the Altar of Hope is that bad. It disables Calibrating Censer, Reverberating Redoubt for any character with 2 base speed, namely: Vestal, Crusader, Man-at-Arms, Leper. Those trinket's effects can not be understated, they're just that strong.
I don't know any way to revert this. In the past, I had this upgrade, then the developers thankfully changed the candle costs to unlock the Altar of Hope, which made me unacquire it, and I haven't made the same mistake since that day again. You can probably edit your save file, but I haven't dug that deep into it to confirm myself.

Right now I'm really busy until the end of the month where I got a week of vacation. I'll try to make the reworked Man-at-arms and Jester work in parties that complement their new abilities. In Elden Ring, Bayle has reacquainted me with the floor more often than I'd like, it was probably a mistake to play at NG+7. As a long-term goal, I'm considering making a guide that doesn't suffer from balance changes and aims to more broadly illustrate the nature of the questions the game asks the player, whose task it is to provide answers. The ultimate goal would be to take the complex questions the game asks the player, and make them simple questions. Then, the player will be able to find an answer more easily, when the task is simpler. I don't know how long it will take, or if I ever will get to a point that satisfies my own demands satisfactorily.

Just keep in mind that I review my own gameplay all the time, and I haven't encountered a perfect run (start to finish) once. One encounter, yes, maybe a whole region played perfectly, that happens, but never a complete run. So don't think you couldn't do it better if you think hard enough.
