Fury must have felt enraged because in her mind, Lust just humiliated her brothers and that's a big no. The siblings of the apocalypse have their issues but they've got eachother's backs
I heard he was voiced by reaper from overwatch...I agree cus I am seriously disappointed when I heard that voice cus I was excited to see my favourite sarcastic dark humourous protagonist...not an edgelord.pardon me reaper fans
Pretty funny. Since the hierarchical power stated in the bible says that the Horsemen Of The Apocalypse are above not just the Sins, but the Commandments as well
@@THEKXRMANETWORK Okay, hopefully one day they can maybe get Wincott to voice the lines for death and patch it in once this game makes enough money, lol. One can dream
@@THEKXRMANETWORK Dude no that sounded nothing like Michael Whincott's death. it sounded like a super eddy version of death instead of the witty sarcastic and wise death we got to know in Darksiders 2.
Fury knew that it wasn't real because Death wouldn't have acted or sounded like that, he would have given her some words of wisdom, courage, leadership and compassion towards his sister. Fury cares for her siblings and looks up to Death like a younger sibling who looks up to their oldest siblings as a mentor. And yes bring back the Michael Wincott as the original voice of Death, but he was decent.
No it's because their different war would of not bowed strife would of said something sarcastic and death would of never came without out greater presence
This cut scene will be my favorite in the game bar none. Even if it is just an illusion. Though of course unless they have all of them reunite legitimately
They will be reunited. Ever since the seal pf the horsemen has been broken in the first game, which is the sequel to the second and this game. Uriel confronted War that if he will fight against Heaven, Hell, and The Council alone, War said "No....Not Alone" as Fury, Strife, and Death descend to earth as comets
@@herokiryu2652 Yeah despite the attitude they have to each other, they care for each other since they are family. War had Honor, Death had Wisdom. Fury now cares for humanity so she now has Morality. Now what will Strife showcase? I heard he's more antagonistic to his siblings than fury
When Death said you Fury will usher in a new age on Earth and War saying we lived in service to you , to me , that totally was a giveaway to me that they were illusions. The brothers would NEVER SAY anything like that , let alone kneel before her and Fury knew that, she caught on quick :)
Fury may be overly ambitious and aggressive too even her brothers, but it's nice to know that the thought of them kneeling to anyone, even her, is infuriating to her. She may be an angry little turd, but there's hope for her yet.
Heaven really needs to get on that whole "loyalty and honor" thing because its one thing to be a warrior trying to do whats best for their people but a lot of their angels are self serving dicks
The thing about darksiders is that the entire tropes/archetypes are flipped. Angels betray and demons help. Although it isnt completely false since angels fall and demons rise to make deals.
They still stick with the traditional helpful demon. A demon may act like your best friend, help you out of a jam, but it only does so if it can benefit some how. And it would make sense that this angel would turn. He loves his legion. Imagine if there were a marine. His whole squad was killed and he was the only one to survive. He'd do exactly what the angel does if it meant bringing back his team.
@@Ieatpaste23 you're a dumbass, did you even play this game demo to see the intro where she talks to War? Play the game and see the ending about Strife, she obviously cares for all her brothers
It's normal that they did not use the original VA of Death in this scene. It is just an illusion and he has like 2 lines, no need to spend unnecessary money.
@@Rieltar I just don't think voice acting is too big of a concern for him, he's still acting otherwise at least as of 2017. But I hope he'll return as Death, he was perfect.
@@TheVampireEd Man, never knew how much gravity Michael Wincott gave as the voice of Death until watching this scene. It was the reason Death was so cool to me.
This is actually the most pivotal scene in the game for fury I think. All of her wishes came true in front of her and she realized she didn’t want that at all. The respect she has for her fellow horsemen was truer than her fantasies. In her line “ you should not have made them kneel” she realized that the reason she is a horseman is for her brothers and what they stood for ( war believes in honor - death said he is the most honorable, Death believes in balance and patience and strife believes in fury his sister) I loved how in every scene strife is in (illusion or not) strife takes care of fury because they are the closest... I almost wonder if they are twins
Course, this does raise the question of what Strifes gameplay will be like. I'm hoping for a Bayonetta/DMC style of fighting with him. Maybe with some RPG elements/upgrades from DS2? One can only hope.
@@muhammedseferi6132 probably too much money to bring him back for just a couple lines, sure War's VA is there but he was at the start of the game. Strife also has a different VA but this was Pre-Genesis so that's understandable
Thank you Gunfire for giving me my wish. All I wanted was to see them all 4 on screen together. *And maybe a playable Stryfe side mission. DLC maybe ;) *.
I get goosebumps and tears in my eyes every time she says "YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE TYHEM KNEEL!" one line that carries a lot of meaning, this is the one point where my opinion of her changed.
The Four love only two things: Their Horses and each other. Death is the oldest and the leader, and thus acts accordingly to care for his brethren and discipline them whenever they got out of line, going so far as to sacrifice himself and the souls of his slain race in order to redeem one of them. War has had a history of being a hothead, but is the one who is the most honorable, doing what he must to clear his name of false accusations and reunite with his brothers and sister. Fury was always the most impatient and had a bit of a complex to lead the Horsemen into battle, but she still loves them all and holds them in high regard. Strife is the wisest brother, the one who collects and shares information and observes to see if any of his brothers have learned anything new from past experiences, such as Fury learning how to "live". Alone, they are powerful, but together, they are invincible. When the Seventh Seal is broken and the Four Horsemen are reunited once again with their true strength restored, no being, no matter how strong or cunning, will be safe in all of Creation. They will do what they must to restore balance, even if both sides must be wiped from existence. Such is the way of things.
Wouldn't say better myself, I guess the Nephilim will become the next watchers and bring balance, I'm expecting a confrontation with the creator and the horsemen one day that would be interesting
That would be most interesting, especially given what they are. The Nephilim are the result of combining the essence of Angels and Demons, making them stronger than either and thus becoming the most feared race in all creation, as they once razed whole planets just for fun. Even though there are only four left, that fear remains, further enhanced by the power bestowed upon them by the Charred Council. In a sense, they are the closest beings to the Creator once the Seventh Seal is broken. While they do not create whole races or worlds, they have the power to destroy both sides if it meant restoring the now broken balance.
This is a illusion guys, Darksiders 2 and 3 coinside with eachother meaning they both take place during the imprisonment/judgement of War. Darksiders 1 is both the beginning and ending of those 3 games because Abbadon the fallen Angel turn fire breathing dragon demon dies sometime after Darksiders 2/3...... just watch the end of this game. And the heavily rumored Darksiders 4 is most likely gonna star the most obvious horseman just if you watch the ending.
Woah. Seeing Strife in art is one thing but to see him ingame makes me so happy. I hope they make the final 4th game rather than leave the series off here.
Omg cool and/or funny on the voice for strife. Either I’m thinking’s it’s lee from telltale the walking dead s1 game or somehow the voice for Dracula in grim adventures of billy and mandy. Maybe funny aids considering death is there to do the whole black Dracula voice is kinda great here.
Side thing: but at least we know they hired someone to voice him basically giving fans they got plans for strife story and gameplay concepts right now.
I love Phil LaMarr and everything hes done hes made a lot of my childhood but having him voice strife doesnt convince me i expected something different
I've only played DS2(once), so I didn't get any clues from their conversation that it's an illusion, but once they started kneeling, I just knew something wasn't right. I swear I was about to start typing angry comments about how they wouldn't kneel to her 😂😂😂
Darksiders 4 they should allow you to choose all 4 riders at will against the last threat. Imagine being able to choose all of the 4 horseman to end the series . Also they should have them as dlc in Mortal Kombat 11 , have war and death and fury as choosable fighters. Heck yeah 👍🔥
Damn!!! what happened to Death´s voice his tone was legendary!!!! bring him back son!!! sweet for War he is the same voice!!!! cool for Strife at last we see him!!!!
It’s funny how Fury thinks herself so high when War would’ve cleaved her in 2 if not for Death’s intervention which resulted in War now having massive magical metal prosthetic gauntlet.
Wow. It’s like Lust wasn’t even trying with that illusion. Even if it’s something Fury wanted subconsciously, NOBODY should have fallen for that trick.
