I totally agree. I already had an amazing time in Darksiders (2) but when i got to this boss fight and the music started rolling in i just didnt want to end the boss fight.

I would definitely agree that the Guardian fight in Darksiders 2 was amazing (maybe second only to the one versus War). The music however added SO much more to it... I wish that the first part had similar soundtrack in it. If so, the comparison between the Guardian fight and the one with the Stygean was going to be hard one to judge. :)

Kratos is very similar to death and war in many ways, he has deaths speed and maneuverability along with wars pure power and anger. In a fight I'd place my money on Kratos because he's like war and death in one. Against war and death together I think he could do it but I'm not 100% but he has faced worse. Kratos is just BA period the only video game character that could beat him is Kirby because well kirby eats everything. Overall darksiders have the better plot and gameplay in my opinion GoW is in a spiral downfall after GoW3

Kratos killed death and pretty much became death itself. killed the three sisters of fate which should have been able to control him, he became a god killed gods, and Titans despite them being immortal. Even when he is killed he manages to climb his happy @$$ outa the underworld and kill whatever sent him there. And to top it all off he started off as a mortal man not a nephilim like death which they in themselves are extremly powerful. Death isn't death itself he's a horseman yes but to say he is death itself isn't correct its just what he embodies he doesn't control it.

He is a nephilim not an almighty being. Death is just a name he was given as well as the Reaper. Nephilim are a unique race they each embody something and Death just happens to embody deaths aspects, the reaper title is from his weapon type. He is indeed probably the closest thing to death in their world.

For some reason it is an unbreakable rule to not include the best/most iconic soundtrack. Just look at Witcher 3 that has everything EXCEPT Ladies of the Woods and Hunt or be Hunted
