Dark Souls is over, but the soul lives on. Through its fans - the lore scroungers, the artists and the musicians - whose hearts were captivated by the world's power and beauty. An amazing track Alex :) Really would love to see a game with your compositions being used.

Love the new album already.

I think this is my favorite of the new album. Its got that familiar Souls feel of course, but it also reminds me of Castlevania and I love that about it.

For what, then? For what were the four lords returned to their thrones as mere Cinder? For what hast thou endured gruesome death a thousandfold? For thou hast made it clear that thine intention is to usurp the flame. Why would thou not simply follow the deserter lords, and neglect thine duty? Watch the flame fade, and the world plunge into the gentle darkness? Thou now go face to face with Cinder itself, in the steps of those who linked the fire before thee. But this time, when Cinder is extinguished, it shall never relight. For now I see thine true intentions. Thou aimst to not only wrest the flame from its mantle, but to take it for thine own. Ah, our gracious lord... Break the cycle. Let this husk of a world fade into darkness. For then, we may all of us rest. For surely a world without a flame is one without the cycle that comes with it’s fading. Without duties to uphold, nor codes to follow. Devoid of reason, of purpose... Of humanity. I ask of you now, Ash... For what do you fight? Is it a purpose? Or lack thereof?
