Darkstar is a dark comedy film directed by John Carpenter, about astronauts trying to destroy unstable planets that might threaten colonies. Maybe the Red Comet lands right on top of Gerold mid-edgelord speech.

since dark star is heading north -> the sword could pass into the Trial of Jamie. Jamie would immediately see the sword and know that darkstar is not worthy of it (I once squired for Arthur Dayne). Jamie would take the sword from him.

@@peterwindhorst5775 And you actually believe a one-handed Jamie can actually beat Darkstar wielding Dawn? Keep in mind, GRRM has flat out stated Dawn makes its wielder a better fighter somehow. When he was asked who would win in a dual between Arthur Dayne and Barriston Selmy, he said if they had equal weapons its a tossup, but Dayne with Dawn would take the fight easily. I think Darkstar beats Jamie. Maybe even if he still had both hands Darkstar wins.

@@williamhermann6635 but it would be such a cool scene where Jamie does say the words - "I am going to beat you with one hand tied behind my back." While Darkstar laughs in his face, Jamie rushes him, and beats Darkstar, because Darkstar is too over confident in having a magic sword vs skill.

I think the "fallen star" is actually referring to a dragon that died. The dragonsteel might be named that because it is made with dragon bone. That would mean the Valyrian steel comes from the bones of a black/posioned dragon like Drogon or Balerion.
