I mean, they have the Emperor in their head. Or at least a part of the Emperor. Likely the snide, sarcastic troublemaker bit. Either way if you have a warp entity talking to you, you could do worse. Seems like a good role model for the lil' psyker.
There's a book character "Eisenhorn" who as an inquisitor favours "Xanthism" which is the belief that chaos can't be eradicated because its just a reflection of mankind and other sentient species so it should instead be taken control of and used to fight chaos. He's relatively sane in a world of fanatics.
Savant Psyker: Protocol protocol protocol Seer Psyker: Beloved beloved beloved Loner Psyker: *Goes on a self-serving power trip* This is why the loner is my favorite of the psykers.
@@cousinzeke4888the main issue is the possibility that he’s talking to a daemon pretending to be the emperor, however that’s addressed in the voice lines when he mentions an impossible fortress in a pink sea or something like that, implying tzeentch I want to say? Or at least one of his cronies trying to hijack it.
the writers say that yhe seer believes the emporer is the beloved but whether that's true is undecided. The fortress with pink would likely be a slaneesh demon using seers love for big e to lure them in.
Daemons: Corpse worshippers! You cannot stand against the immortal power of Chaos! Null: I'd like to test that theory. Pariah: Get bent, you immaterial squatters! Culexus: Immortal? How unfortunate...for you.
It actually does, although often times its all wrapped into the same package as confessions and etc. Also it has mental hospitals and asylums, and even retirement homes for guardsmen who went nuts from PTSD. Its not always a can of corpse starch you know?
Good work, this is some very rare dialogue I’ve not heard. It also confirms that the characters do consider themselves as part of the inquisition. Cheers

My Vet always happy to be around a Bodyguard or Brawler Ogryn, while my Ogryn always sounds like a good loyal boy to everyone. Maybe it's just his Bodyguard personality
his dream about the floating fortress kind of says otherwise, tseentchs realm does fit the description. i imagine he's been playing the psyker the whole time thinking he's talking to the emperor
@@yanosik5665 nah, usually tzeentch likes to do that kind of thing himself. and he can do it to more then one mortal at a time to serve his plans. but here's hoping it actually is the emporer
@@Tanzenergise yea, theres a chance of that but theres no way to know, tzeenches favourites are the ones who are scheeming so it could be one of those trying to get aproval,or its tzeench,we cant realy know.
@@yanosik5665 Daemons are formed from the Gods, made as a piece of them breaks away to become independent, to further the goals of that God more efficiently. My take is that it's a part of Tzeentch himself that is going to become a new daemon to manipulate the Inquisition through influence on this inquisitor's psykers. Fatshark have a habit of sneaking in references to the idea that Tzeentch is secretly controlling the heroes, probably because Nurgle followers are enemies they're comfortable using, and Tzeentch is both a schemer and Nurgle's rival. There was a community post in Vermintide 2 about a conversation the grey wizard had with the heroes that implied Tzeentch has been screwing with their personal histories and other time shenanigans as a genuine, in-universe reason why the characters can switch between different careers.
I dont understand why they dont believe or find it strange in a galaxy full of things like necrons, orks, tyranids etc. Like demons aint that much far ahead on the list :)
