It's always a fun time bullying armor and monsters with the Mk6 Power Sword. It's just a shame this and the hardest Maelstrom conditions don't show up often anymore and all I see are bonus Hunting Grounds and Mutants.

I hate most modifiers in this game and you can go days without seeing melee maelstrom and then if you get far and lose you cant even run it again which is stupid. Mutants and poxbursters break sound on xbox so i never play that modifier.

Outside of that one overhead I ate, extra hp/toughness is wasted for my playstyle when vet has Confirmed Kill and Iron Will as some of the strongest toughness talents. As long as you keep killing elites/specials in general combat Veteran has some of the best effective HP/Toughness in the game

jeeeezus how do you do so much damage? basically 2 thrusts to kill the crushers.

That's just the Mk6's damage profile on activated push attack - overhead combo. I'd say 80% of the damage needed for that 2 shot breakpoint for Crushers on headshot is already there just on the weapon. The remaining damage needed comes from the bottom middle tree and some of the minor nodes that buff melee damage. The extra carapace damage on perk isn't really needed for the 2 shot breakpoint but in certain cases stacking buffs from the weapon's Slaughterer blessing, consumables, teammates auras, and/or your ability use can let it approach 1 shot potential on just the stab alone.

@@Vamp0613 Dang that's pretty nice. I have 30 Ogryn/Zealot and 20 something Psyker but haven't messed with Vet at all yet. I really need to try it out now
