Long term viewers will know that I'm a Mk9 Heavy Sword Shill but with a bit of spare plasteel and tiredness from Ogryn penance grinding I made a few Mk7's on a whim for a change of pace. I have 2 versions that are practically identical with the only difference being Deathblow vs Rampage. From general playtesting and feel from quickplay Aurics they're functionally near identical in overall damage. Whether or not you prefer Deathblow or Rampage depends on if you want the chaff or the elites to die faster in mixed hordes.
As for build, a Laspistol with Dumdum/Infernus paired with Blazing Piety will delete any Monstrosity with ease and Fury of the Faithful will allow it to deal with the Crushers that Heavy Swords will struggle with.
