@@MrHammers nah no one from this generation forgot it. Of course new gamers dont know old games well. So do we just call every ps1 and ps2 game underrated and hidden gem. Cause I feel like if you scroll through comments on any older game people just say omg its underrated. I guess everything on earth is underrated or hidden gem if its older.

@@shadowofsparta4568 not underrated its known during it's time. That's what I'm trying to say everyone calls every game they happen to like underrated or hidden gem and it's like no they arent. I love this game too but I watch alot of videos and play alot of games. People really do call every game they like underrated or hidden gem if it's old. Only reason it's not known is by new gamers. I think if it was known during its era it's not underrated then . Cause like I said we can just say every old game is not known by new gamers.

When the Hunt Showdown main theme started playing in the video it gave me a good chuckle, I can see that game taking inspiration from Darkwatch. The bladed buttstock really reminded me of the talon weapons in Hunt, love that they put in more than simple bayonets.

One of my all time favourites, the aesthetic, style, visuals, designs, themes, SOUNDTRACK and atmosphere of this game is one of a kind, besides having a damn fun COOP mode, is always a PLUS. _and Tala..._

This game was the most memorable co-op experience of my childhood. When I was 12, me & my friend Bernie played through the entire game & we had an absolute blast. Since we could only play for a few hours each day after school, it took some time. I haven’t talked to him at least 13 years. Hope he still remembers this game & our play through.

Man this FPS Wild West mixed with horror and steam punk. Just bring so much nostalgia when I played this game in my PS2. It was fun and addicting and I remembered finishing this game twice,cause of this game has one of those good and bad endings. The story wasn’t memorable but the gameplay is one thing I enjoyed the most.

After playing Evil West, the western horror genre has my interest piqued immensely. I remember reading about this game in a gamer magazine, always wanted to check it out.

I honestly kind of found this game a year ago just looking for PS2 FPS games. I thought it was alright but the final fight against Tala was near rage-inducingly difficult even on the easiest difficulty (might be cuz I'm garbo at some FPS games ;-;).

I remember my brother and I renting this from blockbuster over and over again. Had a ton of fun, I remember following the good path, I loved the idea of a western bandit becoming a vampire and going through a redemption arc. Those floating banshees and the giant trees with the skeletons stuck in them, lot of fond memories of this game, brings back a lot of nostalgic memories. Wonderful video man, this was awesome!

I was just playing this game for the first time a few weeks ago and oh yeah...its definitely a hidden gem! People may talk about there not being a while lot of good western games from back in the day, but Darkwatch was among those forgotten western games that sadly never got the recognition it truly deserved. Its not perfect... but what you'll find, is a great and well crafted FPS for its time. And in some odd ways, it feels like a predecessor to Doom 2016s approach to the modern arena shooter. Also, heres a fun fact. Take a close look at the box art for this game, and as well as Van Helsings box art. They look almost frickin identical!

i played the hell out of this game on my dad's xbox when i went ot visit him and then bought it for my ps2 when i went back to my moms while growing up. i loved it. it was a fun shooter that was really enjoyable and honestly it would of been awesome to play dark watch set in different time periods and seeing how they combatted against the super natural to keep man kind alive.

WOW! What a memory haha; I had a dream about this game last year I think actually and couldn't for the life of me remember the name of the game....till it popped up on my feed today! I love this video, even just skipping through most of it to see parts I remember from the game. Excellent job, dude! OH, one other thing I REALLY love that I noticed was at around the -Remembering Jericho...and Tala 28:16 timestamp, you used music that I've heard in HUNT: Showdown at this part; an excellent choice of music and game, and very appropriate for this haha. I just got through playing this classic title and this was the video to follow it up with! It was a great game and a trip to play. I was thinking that this game could actually be a great movie and I'm not surprised to learn that it was ever being considered. I was wondering if there was ever talk of a sequel too and to think it was a possibility! I learned about Evil West recently and it was my thoughts exactly that its like Darkwatch.

Steampunk darkwest and described really well Giving so many points of refference like steampunk, western, chtulu, gothic and whatever else lose the magic what can be described short but brief as steampunk dark western with some hellsing influences halo This is much more intresting to hear and describe better what it is It's just advice Also theres better ways to learn whatever than skill share

I rented this game back in the day playing through it twice and it must've left some impact with me remembering it all these years later. Although it was probably the unique blending of 2 genres which has no doubt been done before but none to my memory and the stylized weapons and setting

Yo I used to play the shiiiiiit out of this when I was a kid. I remember my dad coming to GameStop with me so I could buy it with my own money on the PS2. Was just a badass game. Edit: sorry it was EB Games when I got it. Just remembered hah I’m 27 now and haven’t thought about this game in years

I miss that era where the demos were so good, you didn't even need to buy the full game to continue having fun. This game being on that list, though that's mostly because I wasn't allowed to play M games at the time but the demo was still RP (despite it already having its M rated content in it) so my mom was cool with it lol
