That makes sense. I'm pretty sure in the reboot Morgana would say something like "Afford magic school without stealing? In this economy??" Lol@@calamadness
I watched this show as a kid whenever reruns came on, it's definitely worth rewatching on Disney+, even though it's super outdated of order, just cause it's hilarious. Newer cartoons are amazing of course but it's nice to have these older ones too just for the slapstick and the puns.
I’ve started watching the original Darkwing Duck to get ready for the reboot. I’m really enjoying it so far, but it’s ridiculously out of order. The pilot is episodes 29 & 30! I have to constantly look up the production code on Wikipedia, and it’s not the only show with episodes out of order. I don’t understand why they can’t hire somebody for minimum wage to make sure the episodes are in an order that makes sense.
@@Uhlersoth77 I think it also inspired on Bob Clampett shorts like "Great Piggy Bank Robbery" and it is a parody of "Dick Tracy" as same Chuck Jones short "Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century" and it is a parody of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". So I guess Disney created her own Self Centered Duck and used him as a parody to the Pulp Hero Comics from golden comics era like The Shadow + Sandman (Wesley Dodds) + Green Hornet + Spirit(Denny Colt) + Batman and also a parody of Spy fiction from the 60s like James Bond, Danger Man, Man from U.N.C.L.E, and Get Smart. As the fact, the developer of the show planned to titled Double O Duck reference to Double Zero Seven(007) but because the copyright so they changed him into D Double aka Darkwing Duck.
@@joelmavity1467 in the reboot, Boeing even say that “he isn’t a villain, technically” He is my favorite because he isn’t evil, just misunderstood. (Let him take care of his plants please, he is so lonely 😭)
TrustyAngel42 Conner.M she turned out to be a lesbian bro, and LP disappeared after the let's get dangerous movie, so technically he was with DW this whole time. in conclusion they're married lmao
I like how these clips start out in the beginning of the video like it was in context despite it all being out of context throughout, lmao. 1:22 Also btw that fish sounded like that annoyingly ditzy bobcat Bonkers when he's in his normal tone of voice.
1:45 - 1:48 This is a real thing. Wardens in the U.S, have done this kind of stuff. 6:10 Everything, and the Kitchen Si- Oh Wait, that’s the fridge. 6:54 How’s that working out for you, Megavolt? 😂 8:38 Never question a man, with a chainsaw.
"I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the bit of meat that gets stuck in your teeth. I am the Troll commenter on your video I am not actually Darkwing Duck!" lol..... my take on something he might say. lol
decided to watch the original Darkwing Duck videos to figure out what the show was about and how closely they kept he reboot to the original, this video did not help and I’ve also found is a large choking hazard
i havent watched all the episodes but mANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN DW kissing Launchpad was hot. I hope they do it in the reboot hHEHEHeeHE
Your out of contexting could use some work. You're supposed to show the punchline without the setup. Sometimes you ended up putting too much of a clip that you gave setup. And sometimes you put 2 clips that were in the same episode and gave context to each other. But aside from that, good video
Without Jim Cummings, the new Darkwing is just another unneeded rebooted version. The reboot don't have nothing compared to the classic, one and only, the original Darkwing Duck. I'll stick with the classics.
@@strawberrylatta4234 Yeah, but it's not the same. In the original he voiced Darkwing as well as Negaduck. And the reboot doesn't really have the key elements that is most beloved of the show. The relationship between he and Gosalyn is not as heartfelt as the original. The Terror that flaps in the night bits fall flat without Jim Cummings improv. And Darkwing's personality is also rather unrecognizable. Just like the unneeded live action reboots of Disney classics I dearly loved growing up, I'm done with reboots and I'm sticking to the classics.
@@Honey059 i see your point! but do remember we have only seen the beginning of dw and gos’s relationship. they are taking a different approach. also remember this is a ducktales reboot, not darkwing duck. so sadly it won’t be focused as much on dw. i love the reboot but i do agree the original is much better (except with launchpad and dw’s relationship, i like the reboot’s version a lot better)
