I'm pleased to see you give Darlene the credit and be respectful towards her. I enjoyed watching this and will come back next month to see your take on Block 2.
I hope a lot of people post their versions of Darlenes BOM. Your block is adorable! 💞 Thank you for sharing and for letting people know about Darlenes BOM. 😊🐈🐱
I love Darlene’s channel as well …. She is so fun to watch …. Love her content …. Your channel is enjoyable as well … I remember when you made a video after winning a Darlene penny auction …. One of my favorites of yours is the Peek a Boo quilt … I still need to make one of those !!!!
Your block came out delightful. I also am a fan of Darlene's & am pleased to see you in particular follow this series of hers. One because I admire your style too & two because it truly helps me to see different perspectives. For instance the way of putting same fabrics side by side. As someone with limited fabrics I've been reluctant to start this series but you have demonstrated how well it can work. Thank you & now I must subscribe. 😊
Love this !!! Watched hers also and making it ❤ Nora, please do your own BOM also, I love the way you teach and show everything. I love how you put fabric together as well ❤ You, Darlene and jelly roll club are my favorites !!!! Tyvm
Happy New Year! The block is very attractive - pleased that you have kept the scraps from this block to use in others. Thanks for sharing. ❤👍from Somerset UK
I agree with the asymmetrical look. I've done it on pieced backs many times and found I liked the backing better. Now I've moved to putting one or two asymmetrical blocks on my more traditional quilt tops for a focal point. 🎶💐💖
