"I can imagine this balcony would be a lovely place to sit in the summer". Ah no, in the summer we'd be inside enjoying the aircon and no bugs. Nice place to sit in Spring and Autumn probably

Just to note that this is the best room that this hotel has to offer, and they don't have very many of them. Their standard suites are in a studio layout, and do not have a separate living and bed room.. As a long time Globalist who stays at the HR Sydney multiple times a year, I have never been upgraded to this suite.

Sydney is nice but I liked Melbourne better. Take the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb. It was one of the highlights of my trip. A bit pricey, but worth it. Wear lots of sunscreen while doing the climb.

Taronga zoo trumps bridge climb any day imo (Sydney resident). Cheaper, great views of the harbour (especially from sky safari - cable car), lasts all day (if you want, and you really should plan to make a day of it); fun and interesting for any age. They do a great job there - strong focus on rescue and ecology. (Pro tip: plan your visit around the keeper talks)
