I knew Darren Criss was talented, but I didn’t know he was THIS talented. He played the role of Cunanan PERFECTLY. If he doesn’t win every fucking Emmy I’m suing lmao
I didn't think I'd ever feel so terrified of the idea of Darren Criss breaking into my bedroom 😂 He played his part a bit too well. Darren is incredibly smart in the way he answers all those questions.
The 4th episode was probably the best, but also definitely the most upsetting and terrifying for me! (special shout out to Cody Fern who played David, too, because he made me care so much about David from the get go only to be so heartbroken in the end, and also I could feel every bit of his shock and terror in my bones! And of course Darren was brilliant, as he was throughout the whole series.)

Also Elvis Duran is an amazing interviewer because he always knows about the people who come in and he always cares and does his research before interviews
I have watched the first 3 or so episodes...this dude knocks it out of the park playing Andrew Cunanan. The show is fantastic. If you are not watching it you must!!
boy Darren totally nailed the character of Andrew Cunanan. Happy to see a good man like him becoming so popular. and no doubt he will be a heck of an actor , he is already a wonderful actor, I can't wait until his next film. The Cohen brothers should hire him asap.
Darren was absolutely GENIUS as Andrew Cunanan. I was impressed with him in Glee but this was just next level. Watch the show, it's dark but fascinating and thought provoking.
I never knew Andrew killed 4 other people besides Giovanni!!!! I was in 9th grade when he was killed and i remember they couldn't find Andrew for a minute before they finally got him
Natasha Jean Gianni Versace, not Giovanni. I know, they sound similar. I remember it too, but Princess Diana's death kind of overshadowed it not too long after. Biggie died in 1997 too. Weird year. Sad.
“Have you ever killed someone ?” at 12:27 of the show the host asked this question .. but for myself back in January of 1996 .. I actually met Andrew Cunanan & Norman Blachford on Oahu. The very sick thing while Andrew was waiting for Norman Blachford’s delayed flight .. Andrew had asked me “Would you murder someone if it change could your life ?” Andrew was not joking or smiling but was serious. Andrew Cunanan was under the alias “Andrew Panini” who rented a car from Hertz. If their was ever a turning point in Andrew Cunanan’s life it would have been when the “FBI took all of his & his families possessions most of all his encyclopedia set.” Andrew’s “Fairytale Life Ended.” This timing was probably around the stock market crash of the late 80’s. Andrew also got “Scary Weird” when he had talked about “Nicole Kidman” for stealing his man .. Tom Cruise. These 2 subjects were “Catalysts” together got him to “Snap” enough to where I believe he could physically do something to someone. Then “Snap” back out of it “Even” he would be asking himself “what just happened ?” “Like Fire & Gasoline.” Then Andrew would act “normal again.” I’m driving him around HNL airport in a shuttle & I was more than willing to stop & jump out. About a year before in May of 1995 Andrew was first to see Lincoln Aston’s body. Some of those who knew Andrew & Lincoln Aston felt that Andrew had more to do with murder than just finding Lincoln Aston’s body. How do I feel about “that question” .. in way Andrew asked “that question” .. Yes, I believe Andrew had more to do with it than just finding the body. I did not work for Hertz until 2 years later in 1998 when one of the rental agents was stating to me that he believed that he had rented a car to “Andrew Cunanan.” Andrew stated to me that he had “Friends in the DMV” who could make him a “real license” that the only ones who would know it’s “not real” would be law enforcement. This rental agent would never know it was Andrew Cunanan because Andrew had rented the car under “Andrew Panini.” This rental agent was also working part time at USPS. I gave him the nickname “Mr. New York” because he was always talking about sports teams from New York & their scores. So about Gianni Versace .. Andrew Cunanan had copied “American Gigolo” about the “Antique Shopping” that’s where he said he had met Gianni Versace first before any of the other meetings or “Celebrity Stalking.” Andrew stated that he had tried to be a fashion model for a big designer but he was too short .. they wanted males to be at least 6’3 & have “That Chiseled Euro Look.” The other reason was that he had 2 birthmarks .. “1 that was near his shoulder blade & the other was in a place he didn’t want to mention.” Andrew also stated he had some type of “Scar” they didn’t like so he never got the job. Andrew traveled all over the world just to see Gianni Versace .. New York, Italy, France, Spain, Florida .. etc. Just to be rejected. By the time I met Andrew in January of 1996 he never mentions Gianni Versace but mentions the “Medusa” (Versace Logo) as his own discovery along with his childhood friends somewhere around Italy. Andrew is also “venting” about “Delta Airlines” losing his luggage with his book that he was writing about “7 Men.” Andrew’s “bucket list” before he got too old & no one would want him anymore. It was just to hard to be in the business he was in .. Andrew just wanted to end it all before it happened. Andrew stated “Even Hookers Need Lovin’ Too.” I had asked him how old he was .. Andrew stated that he was 26 then he said he was 27. Confused ? Andrew stated he was from “La Jolly Ha! Ha! Ha! Andrew later said he was from La Jolla, California. Andrew stated he was an author, the story of his father being a wealthy plantation owner, flying the Buddy Holly Death Trap, the picture of “Lizzie” & her daughter “Dee Dee.” Andrew made the joke that “Lizzie” had turned him gay after their “break up” but later said that this was his really best friend Elizabeth & his “God Daughter” who he referred to as “His Grimmy” in 1996. In 2018 I’m not listening but the tv is on with a commercial for “Versace” .. when one of the characters said “I build the sets for the Titanic.” I only knew of only 1 person who said that & it was the only reason why I had to find out more. In the theater stage scene Darren Criss as “Andrew” is talking to the actor of “Versace” saying “all of the above mentioned” .. I’m thinking did I met this guy somewhere before ? I even hired a detective that helped me “think out of box.” He had emailed me pictures of Andrew’s older brother Christopher .. we both looked at the picture closer & agreed that Christopher looked “local islander.” We both agreed that we might have met him at “Shorebirds Restaurant” in the late 80’s & early 90’s. I worked at “Shorebirds” as the night clean up crew & later to clean the oven flues a number times Christopher was the closing person or someone that looked like him was. But anyways back to Gianni Versace in Florida of 1997 Gianni walked over to the coffee shop. Witnesses stated that Gianni was walking around & looking over his shoulder as to avoid someone following him. Gianni must have recognized Andrew because Andrew for all those years wanted to be with Gianni Versace. “Stalking” Gianni all over the world even trying to be a “Versace” model even in that Andrew was rejected. If Gianni Versace was given “the creeps” by Andrew’s “Stalking” Gianni had every reason to feel that way. Gianni’s own real life “Bohemian Rhapsody” would actually be “played” as it was in his last fashion show. Andrew in January of 1996 stated that since Delta Airlines had lost his luggage with his book he was writing .. Andrew stated now “Someone else would have to finish my story.” Andrew wanted to be “The Taker of Souls.”
