At the time he performed this on the Wish Bus, I truly believed that Darren Espanto was the best teen vocalist that ever hit the air wave in all history of pop music. Not even child star Michael came close in terms of vocal talent. This kid was on a league of his own.

Darren's family resides in Calgary and he went to stay with them during this pandemic before coming back to the PH. He was part of Canada's The Next Star in 2012 before joining The Voice PH few years after.
Darren was 15 when he sang that on the Wish Bus. A year before, he sang Chandelier also on the Wish Bus. Darren was born in Calgary , Alberta CANADA. He and his parents came to the Philippines when he was 12 so he can pursue his singing prowess.

He was born in Canada and moved to the Philippines where he joined The Voice (Kids). I believe he was coached by Lea Salonga, the original singer of Disney's A Whole New World. Schnell, you should react to David Phelps. He is the best tenor you have never heard of and he has won 2 Grammys and 12 Dove awards. He usually sings Christian music, but he sometimes ventures into secular music. His cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing," is the best cover ever. He even sings it in her key. His song "Hello Beautiful" will make you cry; have a hanky handy. After those there are 25 years worth of songs to listen to.
