Like many trying to earn a crust your just another face Darren. If it's your ego that's getting in the way of progress there's no harm or shame in modifying this behavior. If you can step outside the image you've created for the show then your on your way pal. Educate yourself on certain personal commutative etiquettes they will stand to you for the rest of your life. Give people a chance, everyone's not out to get you. Change is a process and has to start somewhere. First you have to get over yourself, that's not a criticism it's a truth, we all do. Sooner or later people move on and trying to stay relative in the game your in becomes more difficult along with the good Come the bad. If there's only one string to your bow it becomes harder to earn legit and we fall. This is what happens to one trick ponies they don't last. Yes, be united in your fight....I am a woman from Liverpool and it breaks my heart to see young men harming people and themselves with their lifestyle.I work now in a middle class environment and if I spoke of the hardships of my upbringing they would be horrified and certainly wouldn't identify.... Was just going to say that, I think Darren is very erratic and paranoid. But that is probably been due to being shit on and mixing with people who he could barely tell them the whereabouts of a birds nest. My cousin is very much the same and it pisses me off the lack of trust he shows but he is a product of his lifestyle.

I don't know much about you except you've had a few experiences, thai prison etc. I think Darren would have a problem with his shadow, but i'd struggle to sit in a car with you Billy, without the main subject being how you walked around Carlisle with a man that beat his mother, strangled her, drugged another girl, went with an underager, and has battered several others, and seen no problem with that whatsoever, brought you views, subs and ultimately money. It wouldn't matter how much you said about forgiveness, and god, there must be a line, and that guy crossed that line several times. Maybe that is part of his issue, it should be. But if people can forgive all then that i suppose makes life for them easier, but looking in the mirror is important.

Anyone can see the pain that Darren is in by the way he lashes out. I think he has the demons of the past but there's a good person trying to get out and make amends. I'd love to see the pair of you do a podcast.
It's a shame he's taken a bit of advice so personally, when it was meant as a generality. We all have to conquer the ego, if you ever want to be your true self and not the persona that we all adopt. We're not the persona, the real person resides behind the persona. It would be good to see this happen and for it to be two older Scousers having a chat. Darren seems to be very bitter.He keeps trying to burn bridges with anyone he comes into contact with, If you show him kindness, He always thinks there is an ulterior motive . And you then must be or are palls with certain others. If you keep trying to help him he starts with the name branding,things like (nonce) That’s got old now , If Gee calls someone a nonce then it’s more of a token gesture as it means fucx all , That’s his biggest accomplishment since leaving prison, Making the words Rats and Nonce mean nothing, That’s because he’s not very bright, I know people that have tried to help him but he turned on all of them , One of those people was willing to really set him up . Greetings from Glasgow, the Gee fella is far too negative and got a real bad attitude in the way he puts himself across, likes to be in control of any conversation, shows heavy narc traits, Billy on the other hand I feel is a very humble and laid back guy, lets people say they're piece so I don't think having a meet up would end well, best avoiding that one Billy.

The only chance some of these young kids have is if fellas like you who have been there, and who these lads aspire to be, get your heads together and use your shared experience to show them the way. They look up to you for all the wrong reasons. You boys have found out the hard way that the kudos and perceived glamour of the wrong kind of reputation leads to absolutely nothing but a lifetime of emptiness. Huge respect to both of you for 1. Surviving against all odds in the first place, and 2. Realising how much of that has been down to luck more than judgement and turning your lives around. These kids need a wake up and see that there are old heroes, and there are bold heroes, but near enough no old and bold heroes. Hope you and Darren show them which sides of you are the ones they should aspire to. I only realised out what life was about in my mid 40's and have channelled all the catastrophic mistakes I made to inspire others. It nearly cost me my life, but has finally given me peace. It has righted many, many wrongs in my head. A wise man once said 'It's not about where you're from, its about where you're at'. Loving the podcasts Billy, keep 'em coming.
