Yeah pretty refreshing after watching over 3 hours of Stephen 'the devil' french bigging himself up with zero humility, regret insight or knowledge to impart to today's divided impulsive young men.

@@Ondolite yeah I'm not 100 % slandering his name. I'm also guilty of writing that comment before the interview was over and while I'm not, retracting what I said I also heard him say a couple of things about the care system with real insight and unguarded honesty. Thanks for your measured response though. I know a "Frenchy" or 2 who've done some of the worst time and moving on while you're on license or in a bail hostel isn't easy.

My point is that there is a degree of plank in both men but perhaps Darren is a bit further on in his journey. Also I am dead against random comparisons.

Never gonna happen. No one’s ever taught them that in the real world ego’s really don’t mean shit. They’ve never learnt to truly not care what others say or think about them. And because of this most think they’re above a normal job in an area that no one knows them. They can’t handle being a nobody so have to revert to type and still act the hard man to keep them relevant and earn them views on social media. It’s sad, because Iv followed most of these lads on socials for years and have spoken to a few in person being from Liverpool myself. Deep down, they’re not bad people, in fact often they’re nice people. But the ego stops them living a normal life. I believe darren especially has a good heart and genuinely shows remorse for his past. Hopefully some day the penny will drop with all of them and they’ll find true inner peace and lose the ego that haunts them.
