Listen to everything of Savage Garden and Darren Hayes. He has ALOT of range. Also, look up Luciano Pavarotti featuring Darren Hayes, as well as Darren’s appearances on The Masked Singer Australia as Grim Reaper. He usually sings with this Falsetto, but he has range. And just a little insight, Darren came out as gay in the early 2000’s. You should check out interviews and articles. I am a huge fan if you can’t tell.

2002 (Manchester), 2008 (London) 2009 (2x London and 1x Amsterdam) went to concerts from Darren that were for maximum 150 people.. have met him in person in London 2009

Late 90s and early 2000s was golden era of music. There were so many different types of music and sometimes they mixed together like Jay Z and Linkin Park. The current era has too much techno music involved, so the real instrument sound is gone and also this type of music gone with it. Perhaps something might change in 2020s and 2030s. When I was a kid I thought 70s and 80s music was super old, but now 90s and 2000s music is already over 20 - 30 years old. It's crazy how time flies so fast🤔🤔

I never cared much for Savage Garden, but this is a fantastic, sexy song. And I feel funny saying this as a genuinely 100% straight guy, but he’s not bad looking in this video 😂 EDIT: And yes, I remember how sexualized all the songs were in the early 2000s. As soon as you mentioned Candy Shop, I’ll never forget when it came on in the car and my mom’s head snapped toward the radio as soon as 50 Cent said “I’ll let you lick the lollipop” 😂

I believe the implication of the video is that they *were* partners/lovers, but he has passed away, and neither has been able to move on yet (he looks at her acting, and she randomly sees him one moment, and gone the next, also still keeps their photos on her dressing mirror)
