If either of these 2 managed to take more than a frame off Davis or Hendry in a session, it was treated like it was a remarkable achievement.

They did show his matches, especially v the bigger names ( He met Jimmy in R2 of this in 89 and 90). I have a bit of the 90 match to post soon

John Virgo matches againsr the likes of Knowles, Meo, Thorne and Drago were usually "the other table" where you saw a few highlights during the mid session interval of main match they were showing live and after the main match had finished.
