Darrin Van Horn vs Iran Barkley 

I think I might crap my pants and run away if Iran Barkley was coming toward me with that look on his face. He was really tough and determined for a few years.

Barkley was too strong and overwhelming, impressive

Van Horn didn't fight a smart fight.. He shouldn't have traded blows with Barkley..

Man, Barkley could crack. That left hook at 16:34. BOOM.

Van Horn is better than given credit for. Still, Barkley made me laugh out loud when he said, "I don't think I would've let this guy beat me if I was drunk!"

Pro boxing was made for guys like Barkley. Pro boxing is 90% bad and 10% good. Barkley is part of that 10%.

Barkley was basically a cruiserweight who walked around at 190 plus. Van Horn was always around 154-155. No shock here.

Van horn was a very good boxer...really talented. Just not enough power to take out guys the size of Iran.

The upset in this fight was that Van Horn managed to get up after that first left hook. What a monstrous punch that Van Horn walked in to.

Barkley got into his head pre fight.. Not only was the size difference a thing, you DON'T trade punches with a guy like Bradley.. You outskill him like Toney did

Of course Barkley's success was short lived as soon after James Toney beat the absolute fucking shit out of him for every second of every round before stopping him.

Van Horn was damn good. Today he would be a champ FOR SURE. I saw him tear guys up in the gym sparring. Top guys too. He was just too small for Barkley, but that was the 80’s and 90’s when you took the next man up. Today his manager would have ducked Barkley as he should 😂 Iran Barkley was a tough SOB from The Bronx. Not a great boxer technically, but what he lacked in skill he made up for with his devastating left hook and heart. When he KO’d Hearns it was a huge upset.

Tough break, But Thats because your Cerebellum was affected by the punch and your legs cannot work without its normal function 27:24 .

Van Horn was always a quitter. He was a great party liaison though.
