Thanks! I’m one of the few that are still clinging onto traditional length darts and it’s nice to see them still perform well and almost even match the performance of half lengths in some instances. I have the accuracy test episode coming this weekend which will add another layer of compare-ability to my dart test series (Speed episode is out now: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CyDGYsIOAy0.html). I’ll probably do a conclusion episode which will probably help determine the absolute best dart through every scenario. I really appreciate the support!

That’s a great idea. Maybe a 3d printed pinion for the fire rate, or a higher RPM full auto motor.

Yeah, there's a two-sided gear out there that doubles the RoF by itself, a pusher that goes with it to reduce jamming, and an arm that's less likely to snap (like Drac's did) ...to name a few things

Thanks so much! Common sense goes a long way when handling these batteries. I try to stress that in all my videos that contain some kind of battery DIY in them. My best advice for someone who is starting out is always go with a high-drain batteries. They are about 70% more forgiving if you would happen to do something that they don’t like such as over-draining the current, or using them for a prolonged period of time in a stressful scenario. I have never encountered such scenario, but it’s always good to use precaution because these batteries can be dangerous. High-drain batteries are designed for high current loads and are usually harvested from robot vacuums (Roomba/iRobot), cordless vacuums (Shark/Dyson) and some cordless drills. I also used this battery in the ultra speed video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qgdE3xDOQQM.html) but I ultimately went 12V on that platform. Half-lengths are retaining their shape. I just think these bamboos are the wrong darts for this blaster. Flywheels use the head of the dart for crush, and these darts have small diameter heads which is optimal for sealed breeches. So the flywheels are gripping on the foam and tearing it up. The short darts are lighter and have less material so they are overall less affected.

Just darts in my experience. 3S is the perfect balance in my opinion. It was a cool experiment though.

I think it might be a switch contact situation. Check out Maritime Foam. He has a lot of work and troubleshooting in the Mk 3!

@@timshooter8033 I’ve seen several people burn theirs out on just 3s. The switches are the weak point.

It’s possible that this is a legitimate case. I have not put hundreds of sustained rounds through mine at 4S so I couldn’t confirm nor deny it. All I know is that it survived long enough for me to make this video haha 😅
