I already enjoy this blaster more than my swift. Its ergonomics and feel is just way more enjoyable and I love the modularity of it. My only gripe is that the super charge muzzle and scar barrel cannot be used at the same time but it can be an easy fix imo since the front part of the muzzle extension can be taken off and replaced with a worker scar barrel. Also just an fyi: a worker swift 1.6 spring, and flipping the spring guide at the back of the stock so it functions as a spacer, will get you 300+ fps with bamboos and 290-300 with Max Ruby darts
I like the blue better too. The mags remind me of the Ceda mags. An Increase, with the barrel, huh. Love how easy it is to swap springs. Sure are nice, maybe one day. Thanks for the review!
This is a pretty cool blaster. My Harrier is hitting 350fps with 1.8 swift spring but you could push the MK4 to shoot a little faster. The build quality is still much better on the harrier with the inserts that hold the shell together (no stripping screws) and all the metal parts (pretty much everything except the plunger and catch)
Lmao i want one buttt im working at a xshot pro longshot budget atm 😂 just ordered one while i save up for the metal kits for my nexus pro, and well i modified my stryker for depriming, and well my room mates kids fired it with the slide back a few times.. go to shoot it at normal (stock spring too) buffer tube snapped off 😭 it was my first pro blaster too, i learned everyrhing i know on it
That's the thing, it's fantastic, but so are a lot of the other options! Though, personally, it is probably my favorite! It really depends on the situation! Lol
First and I just want to say that I appreciate you uploading videos for us even though you don't technically have to I still like watching your videos.
I found that the front grip doubles as a shotgun grip if you put you hand on the inside of the grip w. your index finger over the front. It feels very natural and also acts as an alternate grip positions in case the very forward grip feels too far forward
@@foamquest I love it! Got the limited edition blue as well and the overall look and feel is 10/10 for me. I use it for plinking primarily and all I can say is I wish a blaster like this exited 10+ years ago
I got a chance to use one of these at war and I was very disappointed. Jammed all the time with multiple different mags and dart types. When we ran it without the barrel extension the accuracy was all over the place. The scar did help things but damn if it still didn't squib every dart we put in it.
Wow, seriously? Yikes! I'm definitely having a VERY different experience! My accuracy with Ruby darts is INSANE! It feels super competent! I personally couldn't get mine to jam even once in extensive testing with different darts! Overall, I'm having an extremely positive experience with the blaster! Was the MK-4 you were using modified? Were you running the high-powered spring? Sorry about the bad experience, I wonder why it was performing so poorly? That sucks!
@@foamquest The MK4 was unmodified by the player who brought it to the war. He could chronie it and it was hitting about 180 fps which our wars cap at 200 so it was fine for that. but it was not functioning on the wars. At first we though it was just mag issues so I lent him some of my talons since I was running a Unicorn but nope didn't help.
The problem with this blaster for me is that the harrier and swift exist. The swift is cheaper and has an adjustable stock and you can easily put any length barrel in it you want AND add any scar to that barrel as your performance/adaptability is not limited to the goofy barrel extension by dart zone.
Good points! And those features may sway more people to those blasters! However, on the subject of barrels, the reason I really like the MK-4's barrel is the potential. The idea of quick swapping different barrels (the Swift requires a tool) for different power levels with ease is just phenomenal! But, yeah, as of right now, we only have the included one. I also have NO IDEA who decided not to accommodate the SCAR, with the extension!
I don't get why people keep saying the swift hit's harder than the Harrier. I have owned both and run them over 300fps and Both yes BOTH of them have known to break at the 350fps mark with extended use. The swift is not better. Monkey mods even started selling swift shells due to people breaking them using the 1.8 springs. And that springs got around 340fps.
Not at all! What color did you get, just out of curiosity? I heard some others mention accuracy issues as well, though I haven't had any personally! Sorry, that's really unfortunate. After your modification, how is it?
i got a red one. after i dremeled on half of the fps extension shell and stacked tape on the right side of the barrel it moved the barrel to the left and its hitting right on target now. but just having to do all that grinding and adjusting with tape kind of tainted my experience with the blaster. i really wish i could have gotten a blue one i really like the dart zone blasters in blue. i plan on getting a long 1 piece barrel for the mk4 and the same upgrades walcom did. i still really like the blaster i got mine on sale 55 dollars off. i cant wait till i get it upgraded to the level i want it at.@@foamquest
@@foamquest Bro i love it so much the blue looks so good , and on top of that it hits harder than my max stryker, but it's less accurate because i put the extra fps barrel on it. BUT I took the scar barrel and put it on my max stryker. Hopefully in the future they can make some sort of combination with the long barrel + a scar to make the 300+ fps actually usable 😂😂
@@actjng I myself would love to see a replacement front plate for the barrel extension that allows you to use the included scar. That way, it won't have to go to waste!
