Without the mask and life support stuff attached to Anakin(or aka Darth Vader) that was gonna be his actual outfit as a Sith Lord.

It’s brilliant cinema

Ralph McQuarrie, one of the original concept artists did by accident. George Lucas tried to describe the villain to him and McQuarrie in thinking he would need some sort of suit to go from ship to ship, drew Vader having a breathing mask. It would become part of Darth Vader's final design as the suit was sculpted for David Prowse who played him.

When he was burned, his lungs and throat were basically destroyed, so he can’t do more than roughly whisper. He has that voice box to amplify his voice, not just to sound cool lol. It’s really hard to hear, but it is there.

Some believed him to be an entirely new person from the middle of nowhere. Others believed him to be a rebuilt Grievous. Personally, I’d like to think that there were some people in the former Republic (Senators, military, or otherwise) that noticed how close General Skywalker and Senator Amidala were, noticed General Skywalker’s aggressive tendencies, and found it a bit dubious that the Republic is now destroyed, Senator Amidala is dead, General Skywalker is presumed dead with no physical evidence of a body, and there is a completely new Sith apprentice whose identity is unknown because he’s encased in armor.

It’s speculated that Anakin did indeed die in this scene and Papa Palps siphoned the life force from Padmè and transferred it to Vader. This then gives the answer to why Padmè died without showing any since of being in a fatal state. That or Vader accidentally siphoned her life force whilst thinking about her. Papatine only gave one order which was keep him alive but keep him awake, he did this for two reason, one to punish Vader, he wanted him to understand just how much he failed on his first showing as a sith lord and two because he felt that the pain would strengthen Vader's connection to the dark side which it did, think of it as Vader's first lesson. Vader's surgery took 3 days to complete.

Joe Kennally It bothered me so much that the clones went from supreme badasses to lackeys of the Empire. It wasn't as strange with the accents though; most of the clones had accents that were similar to those found in Western Europe. Accents found in the Republic were mainly American accents excluding the clones and Obi-wan.

I don't think stormtroopers are that bad. They are just facing the heroes too often to Win. But in Episode 4 on the death Star, they had the order to let luke and Leia and Han escape. Proof: 30 rebel pilots approach the death Star, 3 survive thanks to Han. Episode 5: Total Defeat for Rebels on Hoth. Episode 6: all rebels on the Moon endor died except the Heroes and ewoks. The stormtroopers can even hit Leia and R2 with just one shot from their blaster.

Palpatine, dabbling with the dark side too much , greatly disfigured his appearance. Anakin was so badly burnt and his lungs so badly damaged, he would need the suit and medical assistance for the rest of his life to stay alive. The dark side only aged Anakin Skywalker quickly, turned his eyes yellow and impaired his judgement and emotions. His drawing of the dark side, fuelled by his rage and anger also kept him alive The robots were working to rebuild Vader's damaged body and encase it within the suit whilst he was conscious. The constant pain Vader was experiencing made him angry, which in turn was strengthening his connection to the dark side. The way Palpatine was smiling as if to say "Anakin is finally mine".

And likely for several days as well, given the trip from Mustafar in the Outer Rim to Coruscant in the Core, not to mention how long the surgery took.

@Psi Hyperdrives did cut down on time a lot compared to standard space travel, but they still had their limits. Think of it like flying from the US to Asia. It’s much faster than taking a boat, but still takes several hours.

However, when you are traveling from Mustafar to Coruscant, you are traveling across half the galaxy, which would take much longer. Also, most hyperspace travels are made with multiple jumps to turn or avoid planets or asteroids. You would also have to figure in the rating of the hyperdrive as well, as different ratings have different capabilities. The Millennium Falcon’s class 0.5 hyperdrive was among the fastest, and thus it could travel much quicker than the class 1.0 of an X-Wing fighter. I believe the shuttle used to transport Anakin had a class 1.0 or 1.5, so the shuttle would be about 2 to 3 times slower in Hyperspace than the Millennium Falcon traveling the same distance. It basically boils down to how many jumps were made and the hyperdrive rating. My guess is about 2-3 days because the ship had a decent hyperdrive and the two planets were on opposite ends of the galaxy.
