Hi Abbie! Just love your childlike enthusiasm coupled with your reflective personality. I like how you enjoy contemplation in quiet solitude and yet get giddy when seeing something so simple and natural. The rain always add different dynamics along the trails which I think is just as equally enjoyable when its dry and sunny. Yes I enjoyed your little saunter along the Lydford Gorge. You are the best. Thank you.

Well that was cleaver. You felt lost in time and yet you only had an hour to complete 3 miles whilst watching it - time that is! Lovely wood and waterfall and I agree if we can make time to reflect and meditate let's do it. Awesome place - Good narration. Mark

I was so happy when I saw you would be showing us Lydford Gorge. You see back in 2015 I had the opportunity to spend 3 days on Dartmoor. With so much to see in such little time, I chose to do some amazing walks to various tors. I remember driving past the sign for the gorge and hoped I was not making a mistake by driving straight past. I was definitely extremely happy with the walks I did to the tors but always wondered what I had missed. Thanks Abbie. The gorge looks wonderful.

My dad was a police officer stationed in Lydford back in early 1960s. I was about 8 years old, never had a chance to visit the Gorge. Just peeped over a road bridge into its depths. So thank you for this video. It was a very quiet village to live in back then.

What beautiful walk. It's great to see such places like this existing Britain. In British Columbia we have a Hell's Gate where the Fraser River pushes through the narrow canyon. It's a bit touristy but still impressive to see. Thakyou Abbie for your enjoyable videos👍😎

Abbie, thanks so much for sharing. Looks like such a beautiful place. It reminds me of one of my favourite places to walk in the South West of Western Australia-Pemberton. I love to walk in that kind of weather and, suffering through 40°C heat here at the moment, made me pine for it.

Thank you Abbie. Sometimes lower level "ambles" are all one needs to find food for the soul. It doesn't always need to be big peaks and lots of miles - as long as you are out in the boots. 😎

Great one Abbie. Just came back from a quick one week hike last week-SWCP (few sections-St. I to Zen and others), South Downs (seven Sis). Did a little of each. Wanted to get to Dartmoor but ran out of time. Came all the way from US-beautiful trails-Thanks for the inspiration. Winds were crazy last week but still fun. Will be back!!!!
