How is she inspiring? She's a White wannabe who writes characters that say they wish to be White & says "EWW" to India (The Mindy Show)? That's pretty pathetic to be ashamed of your own heritage culture.
Putting yourself out there is the best part of shaping your future. You're gonna get knocked down. So what? You're gonna have things go well. Big deal. You're gonna start something for a good reason and have it turn out bad. You gonna start something on shaky footing and have it re-define your understanding of what you're capable of, far beyond your ability to dream. This goes for men & women. It always has but for some reason, we've always given the biggest platform to liars. Those days are gone! #TimesUp
@@seifbouanik3689 EWWW. Please don't compare that childish abomination to the extremely talented Mindy Kaling. One calls making weird faces and dance moves comedy and the other has written episodes of the office.
Totally agree with the fact that things dont turn out the way we think they will after college. And the letting the idea of perfectionism go is very liberating.
im so inspired by this. also by herself too. why not you, you made it this far. when i feel sad and almost give up. i always ask myself the same question.
I just came back from doing a commencement speech myself. Yes me. I did it at Dunkin Doughnuts. My speech started with .... I will have a dozen doughnuts (4 glazed, 2 chocolate, and six frosted), I will also have a hot Latte. My speech inspired the employees there to get me what I wanted which made me very powerful and made me a director of their actions. I hope I get nominated for that directorial effort and I hope the employees that helped me get nominated for best supporting actresses. It was an honor. Thank you.
I live literally 20 minutes away from Dartmouth (grew up here my Whole childhood and still live around here) and my gram was one of the first people ever (with others) to make computer programs for Dartmouth when computers first became a thing, and she started wayyyy back decades ago obviously. She’s retired now. But damn I wish I was there during this.
Thanks MOM for sharing! I find it helpful to look back on my past when I think I can't do something. I remind myself of what was, and hope that will be okay! Thanks Mindy and Dartmouth
