Love these vids. We forget (or do we) how flipping hard darts is and as you get older it gets even harder as does walking, getting up, getting down, in fact everything. 👴

phil was the greatest and best there's ever been or will likely ever be. I was lucky enough to meet and chat with him in 2006 on the laddies poker cruise, he seemed a humble and regular guy. 99% of the time Whenever he lost there was no sour grapes he acknowledged the victors success, but it didn't happen often lol.
I met him in the reception of a Derby premier inn about 15 years ago. He had a ' minder' who was about 6ft 8" and had half an ear missing (I didn't ask) . Phil said it was pay day for a league match held locally, he was just a down to earth (albeit the new range rover in the car park) middle aged Stoke native, jeans and a fish tail Parker coat, he mentioned his friendship with Robbie Williams, thanked the receptionist and got into the range rovers passanger seat.
Used to love Phil the power when I began watching him in the early days, a true legend. It seemed the more trophies Phil won along with the financial gains he started to become cocky and even worse arrogant. Verbally abusing any commentator who dared to ask questions Phill didn’t like. To me he went from hero to zero , Money,money, money does not buy happiness ( I know from life experience) First impressions are important, last impressions last forever. 😂
Taylor was that good if he was still in hes prime he would of won alot of trophys in this era but not as much.16 world titles will never be matched thats hes forever
I agree. Even though I didn't really like him. He was a level above everyone. The averages he was scoring was normally 10-15 higher. Its funny how when Phil retired the scores have reduced. Yes there is a lot more talent now but at the top I do honestly believe they aren't pushing to the limits they use to
It’s a piss poor channel tbh. Anything for views and clicks, eh 🤦🏻♂️… thats the disguising world we live in where truth doesn’t matter, its all about staying something and getting out first, selling it…. No matter who it hurts. You get good at something you practice…. Even BS, so people like the lad doing this poor excuse of a channel should think about what they’re doing and take responsibility for what they say.
If big Eric. Jock Wilson. Low. Didn't drink and smoke so much he wouldn't have got near them & Jockey. Eric suffered from dartitis as well. It was Bristow when led the way forward to start PDC and get decent money for players. Taylor was good but wouldn't have lived with them In there prime. He won so many titles because there was only a few good players about. The minute decent players emerged he was off. Wonder if he ever gave Eric his 10 grand back.
