Hopefully everyone that watches regularly but not subscribed does so immediately and clicks the like to get Rory over the 250 K mark and not too long before A Million. Give him the Budget for a large workshop bought. Cheers Guy’s.
Got it myself buddy. Chompers look great 👍. Let's all take a moment and realize how badass Rory is for getting 19 teeth ripped out and never missed posting content. You guys are awesome. Also there should be an event to "Promote a new shop"
I was wondering if I could come hang out with you guys sometime? Hahaha!!!! But seriously seeing you all having a good time with each other always puts a huge smile on my face!! BTW the shop is definitely coming along very nicely as only Rory and team can craft - a style that's uniquely your own, team trailmater!
Rory, Mike n Shawn construction crew! Love it guys❤ Hope y'all get to settle in for long time. Nice looking new digs! Every body that's falls in Darwin's dip! Never sees it! Lmao!😂
Well, now that i noticed your teeth, I guess I can keep watching your videos! Lol and, since I live in the Texas gulf coast area, the current location of your shop does not really matter. Keep making great videos- especially the undercarriage shots- unique to you!
It would be awesome if you could buy your own place, but i get it. Money is always a factor. And for anyone commenting on ANYONES teeth or looks; its nunya business!
Along with Fab Rats and Robby Layton, Rory and company are my favorite channels. MOOR is somewhere in there too. The Moab landscape along with Trail Mater and Old Blue are so handsome. Myself, being an old hippy I can say this… I dig it.
It is common that the audience can do it right the first time everytime. No extra trips to the hardware store or revision or redesign. It amazing how they are always right.
Well if'n they was smrt they'd reed the Comments 1st , b4 they even posted the video so's they could be told h0w to avoyd problems. Common cents , rite ?? j/k 🙃 😉 🤷♂️
...wait...has there ever in history been a time when there were no extra trips to the hardware store? I thought that was against the Laws of Physics or something...
Let me tell you something People this channel rocks !! It's growing fast and Rory is dam good People !! I met him on hells revenge years ago and in no time at all he will be buying and owning a Bad Ass shop. God Bless !! 🙏
Rory , I have that issue , it takes some getting used to but you will get used to it and end up loving you life no pain , or other things and rattling on trails youll be happier too . I know I run OFF ROAD RECOVERY LAS VEGAS
So where is your new shop? We camped at the KOA down the road from you a few years ago, before I discovered your channel. I hope to be out there this fall. I'd love to stop in and meet you all.
One point that you may not be aware of. The new workshop has a portal structural frame and these are generally designed to the minimum limit to save steel. One of the features of the frame is that it is designed to flex, this means that under wind and in colder climes snow, there will be a downward load on one side of the roof and an uplift on the other, this can be considerable. Normally, you would design a flex head to any partition to accommodate this movement. It can't be fixed at the roof because it has to move so a sliding joint is incorporated. Be aware that a plasterboard partition can't accept any movement without cracking although you may be lucky in that the timber stud frame may take the downward load but not upward. On one building I designed the upward movement was calculated at 9" and the downward 4" giving a total movement of 13" on a 60ft span.
Your taillight broke! Made me laugh… I had a ‘70 IH Travelall with a tow hitch and some yayhoo ran a red light as I was going through an intersection. He hooked my hitch and tore the whole side of his Crown Vic off. Damage to the IH , .79 cents (broke the license plate light).😂😂😂
The Bermuda Triangle at Darwin’s Dip ! Ha ! We don’t care if y’all déjà vu that Dip every other video, we just love run’n out there, to get’em out with y’all !
I'm kinda disappointed. You said you were going to rescue another white jeep so that's what I was expecting, and then it turned out to be gray. Felt kinda let down. But I'll probably get over it... 😏😏
Aahhh! My eyes, my eyes! They hurt after watching your carpentry. The after-thought window opening did it for me. I'd recommend a plan, but why start there. In order to make a functional "office", you need to fully enclose the space. Add an acoustical panel drop ceiling and finish out the corners. Install a through wall AC/Heat pump and lime green shag carpet. I'd add some black light TM logo posters. I might even keep the console stereo that's hung in the corner.
Hate having to move shops!!! Back in the day we moved our black smith shop 3 times! With power hammers that needed 6x4x6 concrete footers every time and I was the low man on the totem so I was “the dig man”! My x boss just had to move again after 15yrs tried to sucker me in with scrap steel drops, nope sorry man no time painting houses now! The heaviest thing I lift is a 5er on to a dolly!!!
Hey Rory, those teeth might be doing your head in right now but hang on with them. I came over to the states in 2007 and got all my rotten brit teeth pulled and replaced with dentures in the same day in Missouri, Once a month had passed I never noticed them and I got my grin back again, Still gottem in right now. Good one mate!
I agree that buying a place, especially for commercial use, is not cheap. Good luck in the future in securing your own place as it gets old to keep moving all your stuff.
Totally know what your going through, I had a bad nerve which caused my teeth to start to decay, so I had all of my upper and lowers pulled, but not enough bone for anchors for the lowers. Dentures are a pain, but once your used to them. They re still a bummer.
Yeah, I really enjoy your channel. You’re one of the few real people that do blogging. Several people start out being real with them. They get a little bit exposure, and then every video becomes a infomercial and all kinds of crap. I mean sponsorships are good if you know how to work it into your blog good but some people don’t and you guys are just a breath of fresh air you’re real.
Bravo for you for Taking Care of that Issue. In the End it Will Be Better for Your Health. I had 10 all Out at Once myself. Two years No tops… now top plate. Made Me Take Care of the Rest.. lol But good for you…
So, the new shop has two elephants in it? 😆 Seriously, the temporary new teeth look nice. My front teeth/bones also went south and I ended up with an upper and a lower bridge. I hope you end up happy with your new permanent fix, whatever it is. Great video, it's fun watching the new shop take shape.
I liked the old look but the new look I like too! In the long run, it's better for you. Top off all the fluids and after that give TM a belly scratch for me! Chrip chrip! Happy Trails!
Good luck with the dentures Rory. It has taken a couple of years to get used to mine. The original first set after getting all but nine lower teeth pulled was pretty miserable. The V A did mine and they are way over loaded on patients. The new set I have now are fantastic and I don't regret getting them at all. The prostate cancer and four knee surgeries I could have done without, but I'm still kicking and eating!
Ballsy in a good way to let people know about things that aren't our business ( the teeth issues.) As others have said, I'm here for the ride in my AC cooled room, while you men do the work!
I had the same thing done 30 years ago, best move I ever made! Eventually you’ll forget to be self conscious about it. You have good reason to smile 😃 👍another awesome video
Seeing those two shots of the yellow beach buckets going passed your place at very high speed I think your little incident with the semi - you were rather lucky it was not worse: y'all take care with entry and exits from your new place (that digger you has has a blade good enough to create a new turn in bay on the berm ?). I cracked up with "Here's Rory" - love it guys - keep it up - thanks
I've eyed that dip a few times! Enjoyed the video and keep em coming. Always good to see competent driving on those slick rock trails by you guys. thanks
Rory, I just looked into two implants, just south of 10 K for two studs 😮 and that didn’t include the crowns . Needless to say I now have a partial on the lower for 1K that seems to be working fine. Anyway now you know how a horse feels with a bit in his mouth 😉. Best of luck to you .
I never even noticed you had crooked teeth before. My stepdad had most all his teeth knocked out when he was 18 and t-boned by a semi. The dentist failed to get all the roots out and lead to his first heart attack and then the second attack got him unfortunately. He was the greatest man I ever knew. You remind me of him Rory but he lived in Indiana and was a farm boy. You are just the Moab version lol. 🇺🇸💪👍 Ever need anything just let us know Rory. Your followers would not only probably buy you a shop, we’d build you a custom one if possible. I would if I could afford it. I can help build it though lol.
During that intro, all I could think at first was: "Dang, that's a big rock pecker"... Then, after it poked it's head in: "DAMN, that's a HUGE, ugly rock pecker..."
Wow... interesting elephants... thanks for the updates... so... on these rental recoveries, does the renter contact you or the Rental Company???? just a curiosity ??? Love the M&S Show 😂 flattening out and filling in holes??? but what about the "Test Hill"??? 😂🤣😂
