Why is the handler positioned to inner place (placed to right side) instead of. left side than should be better alighted and fitted to to left hand that holds it? Thanks!

Its hard to decide how tight it should be,coz the shaft will vibreate,so if its not tight enought i may end up losing those screws,same as the factory loop handle screws if not tightened. I think what they should do is make the clamp big enough and includes some rubber "spacer" in the package.

Snapped one of mine last summer. Same reason torqued down to tight.

Wrap some grip tape around the shaft first before you install. Should keep it from slipping.

Mine are the old grips with the 2 piece rubber they never get right🤪 did they come out with a new clamp that fits?

Well of course you will snap the bolts if you use plug in tools with 50,000 lbs of torque. You won’t snap them if you use light weight, power tools, and set your clutch appropriately

What size are the screws? Ive lost 2 of mine on the first use because they vibrated loose! (I was scared to tighten it down)

I ordered one but my Black and Decker electric trimmer shaft is too thick. I ordered 1” socket bolts instead of using the .5” that it came with.

Nevermind, was comparing cost and size with another brand as well as judging how difficult it would be to make a diy version of the Darwins grip(still feel like this is easily accomplishable for someone more handy than me) but will most likely just end up purchasing darwins grip 4.0 for $60

Well of course you snapped the heads off the mount using that big ass 1/2” drill, duh. Use a drill driver with a cultch

I hope the use of the heavy duty drill to screw the bolts in was satire. Because that would be just plain stupid, otherwise. Cordless drills with clutches were made for just this sort of thing.
