I couldn't agree more I'm from Argentina Buenos Aires I saw them live in 2019 they nailed at an arena here in Buenos Aires it was .great being able to see them live after been listening to their songs since the 80's.I used to live in Los Angeles and once I run into John in the rite aid in Beverly Hills. I say hello I told him I was a fan super nice guy he was with his kid at the time.great band great duo. they got the best of the disco period and the best of the soul period a very interesting mix really to say the least.

Its the way the bass line is arranged, its a classic hall and oates thing to do to walk that bass up a few steps during each chord change in the chorus

Daryl Hall has another song that is out of this world. WILD FIRE! I can't get him singing this song out of my mind. Play it every day. Every time I play it I see more and more of the greatest singer of our generation. With all due respect to John Oates this man can outplay anyone on the guitar...well maybe Prince and Bonnamassa are right up there but John Oates certainly knows what he is doing and introduces us to new music all the time.His range is phenomenol. Checkout WILD FIRE. Daryl is in a regular green t-shirt on stage pouring heart and soul into this song. Even the best singers out there tell him all the time...I just want to hear you sing...the best singers out there tell him that he sings their music better then they do. That voice gets to your soul and you just have to have more.

Just heard on Bill Maher's podcast from Daryl that John isn't on this at all. This was Dave Stewart and Daryl. The "Hall and Oates" thing is a business partnership only. Not a creative partnership. I didn't know that.

As a fan of H & O since the beginning, I get it. Daryl was done with being a duo. John certainly was and is a great musician, writer and arranger. But Daryl, in his own right, is on top of everything. Those who just think The Duo is the gig should let that go. People move on. Simon and Garfunkel moved on, still friends. LOL, maybe not.. John and Daryl are just biz partners because they have to be. Love this tune. I never heard it either. And yes, I'm here because of the interview. Crazy now it's a huge hit again and I bet he sells 500,000 copies, again. What fun this shit is... Right? Keep kickin it Daryl, Great Music Man!!!

It's a white lie I guess, but when it is in public on TV in the media it has a different meaning, it is a portal to the fake world that Hollywood present to us. But, Oh yeah, right. and Jeffrey Dahmer was genuine with his opinions on cannabalism, whether you agree with some of them or not. Who cares. The thing that has changed about Bill is that I guess all that time he was giving lip service to caring about people and political issues, when all he really cared about was a kind of seduction, and at this point in his life he has entered true a-hole mode where he emotionally abuses the world by showing them that he was lying all the time he was letting us think we were getting to know and trust him. Believe you, if you examine Maher's TV behavior, it indicates one thing, and that is the entering into a kind of Trump sociopath phase and his way out.
