Hey there! Thanks for reaching out! There is a chance that the popcorn kernels you are using are too small. Small kernels don't do very well in air poppers. We recommend Orville Redenbacher or Pop Secret

You're absolutely right, we do recommend a certain type of kernels for the best results. Now, if you noticed only a few kernels didn't pop, no worries - that's totally normal. But if you've got a case of all-kernels-staying-put, it might be the popcorn itself rather than the machine. Quick question: is the air coming out of your popcorn maker nice and hot? Let's troubleshoot together and get that perfect pop!

Microwave popcorn kernels have flavorings that coat the kernels, so you can't use them in air poppers because they will get stuck on the damn and burn 🔥

You should not put oil. The recommended size for the kernels to have more popped is 6mm.

Hi 😊 Thank you for reaching out! You need to place Top Cover onto the Body until it clicks into place.

There's a trick to getting the lid on. line up the BACK tab first, and make sure it's down at the back. Then line up the side tabs, which won't go in at first. Once the side tabs are lined up, hold down lightly above the side tabs, and LIFT the back of the lid, and they'll drop right in. You only need to lift it up about 1/4 inch, and it'll go on perfectly every time.

Hey there! We're so sorry you're having trouble! For air poppers, sometimes smaller kerneled popcorn doesn't work well. Standard large kernel popcorn is the best for air popping, we recommend Orville Redenbacher or PopSecret. Would love it if you could provide us with some additional details on what is happening with the unit when you turn it on. For example, is it heating up? Is the fan not functioning properly? These details will help us better understand what is going wrong and whether troubleshooting is needed or if the product itself is defective, which we will be happy to replace. Here are a few notes that may help you right away: Type of popcorn: The Amish style black popcorn is not optimal kernels to be used for types of popcorn makers like air-poppers. The reason is because they tend to be smaller in size and weight and are more likely to blow out of your unit. The amount of popcorn that you use is also important. Using less than the recommended amount outlined in our manual, increases the likelihood that the popcorn will blow out of your unit because there is less mass inside the unit, making it easier for the hot air to blow out the kernels. Finally, “dry” popcorn can also cause issues. While this may seem strange, if the kernels you purchased have been sitting on the shelf for a while, the kernels may be a little too dry to use in an air-popper. Popcorn kernels do require a little bit of moisture, that when heated, expands and provides the fluffy texture we all know and love. We would recommend that you fill a 12oz mason jar (or a similar sealable container) and add 1 teaspoon of water before sealing, shaking, and allowing it to sit overnight. Hey there! Thanks for your message! We wouldn't recommend putting salt in with the kernels because the salt will fall through the holes in the bottom of the popper and won't end up on your popcorn! A great way to get even salt is to add a little salt as the popcorn is coming out of the popper and into the bowl :) Enjoy your popcorn!!
