I’m sorry I keep asking on your videos but I never get a answer , with the huge amount of sugar for there valentines basket and all the other stuff you buy for your children, how does this work as you’ve said that you have to be VERY careful as with given them sugar, dairy etc as they will become addicted, I’m genuinely curious as they have huge amounts ever day 🤷‍♀️

What I think would be a good idea is if the parents purchase the biggest gift and each of his siblings get him something small. It would serve two purposes. 1. he would feel loved and supported by his siblings and 2. his siblings would feel selfless and joy by giving.

She also gives her children opportunities to make decisions for themselves and she and Josh validate their feelings, ideas and they know what each child likes and includes them in family decision-making. For example, the children are involved in making the weekly dinner menus and they also make snacks for each other. The older children also nurture the younger ones. Don’t make snapped judgments about Alicia and Josh and how they parent.

Alisha, I always have both reusable bags and laundry baskets in my vehicle for shopping. Some things fit better in a laundry basket and it's easy to carry! The bread and eggs go in one laundry basket and don't get smashed.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with hoverboards, but they are reasonable for 9 yos. Many manufacturers actually have lower age requirements like 8+.

For the shoes, try “champs sports” or “Footlocker”. Although the shoes are Jordans you pay a lot over regular price. Jordans retail for under $250 for men and $190 for kids and the 4s you got were in stores like that. I️ love your videos

I will be 67 this year...Last year for Valentines Day I requested my hubby of 34 years get me a big stuffed puppy dog to put on my bed ( she is about 2 feet long). For there birthday's instead of dropping a grand or more on each of them, or a select few. Why not pick something they really like to do and go do it with them? The gift of your time is worth more to them then prized possessions. Example we let each of our kids pick a place to go to for their birthday and then a dinner somewhere special or we make them a special dinner. Then wherever place they pick, they can pick a gift there as well and they get a gift of their wanting from home. My kids look forward to this every year. This year my son received tickets to a Pennstate football game because he's a huge fan. Then he got a bucket list item and purchased something he wanted at the game.

My kids get one birthday gift. This year my twins turned 9, 2 weeks before Christmas. They got one gift for their birthday, and 3 each for the holidays. That includes my son whose birthday is in the summer. Buying tons of gifts isn’t showing love. They are way more thankful when they get the one thing they really want.
