the pc fans are great but you need better ones.. Noctua makes fans for user desk top pc low noise and okay cooling .. you are better off to get a server fans like Delta they can go to 5000rpms or so try them you will be amazed how strong they are and also the life span of them are great since they are made to run up to 5 years 24/7
Thank you for sharing, Peter! It looks awesome :) During quarantine I had time to mount the quick release system and I want to congratulate you for such a great job! Have a good day :)
I had some layering issues (my fault) but fixed it with a soldering iron I use for quickfixes on printed parts. Thank you for this, it has elevated my sim rig. QR next :)
I'm really don't know what to say about so much generosity you made of, with the Thrusmaster community Peter, just woo man ! As soon as I can, I'll try it my T300 wheel base look like it will fit, I guess ^^ About your fan, have you try to increase the speed of it, as it's a pwm one ?
As always GREAT stuff from You..!! Unfortunaly my handbrake is next to my wheel, so i can´t use you design.. I first also tried Noctua, and other "standart" PC Fans. They are quiet, but to weak. Now I got two 120mm Sunon MEC0381V1-A99 Fan´s from Amazon. ( Yes-you can hear them without Headphones ) They are cheap, work great with Simhub - and got lots of power ( 234,4m³/h ). Very happy with this solution..
Hi build a box where you install a large fan and then hoses come to this box and you then point the hoses in your direction ( i use Translator sry i hope you understand ) 😉 I would like to see how you programmed all of this 🙂
I simply used simhub / arduino and generated the sketch, super easy, you can check my 'how to make a simhub display' video for more details, as for your design I would really like to see, would you mind sharing some pictures (either here or email me :)
