If you got an order like a Dollar general you can go to the closest one near you. Same goes for chain drugstores and supermarkets. It will say you're at the wrong location but click on I'm at the right location

love your videos. thats the first step i live in california and it went from 70 percent acceptance rate to 90 percent to dash now! its crazy and you need a 4.9 or higher rating.

I just set a repeat every day alarm for midnight and instantly claim the hours, broken up into 3 blocks separated by a half hour in case I miss signing in in time, for the furthest out day.

I lost platinum a week ago when my Deliveries dropped under 100 for 30 days. It’s almost impossible to get back to platinum dashing 30 minutes at a time. Keeping a/r over 70 is also a struggle with crappy orders at off times. I wish I would’ve scheduled when I got close to losing dash now And stayed on top of doing at least 3 deliveries a day. Having an algorithm for a boss sucks.

I pretty much quit doing Doordash because of the pay to mile ratio. Also I am tired of putting in 5 hours a day with making under minimum wage, waiting for an offer that pays. I am not a slave to Doordash. I went back to caregiving where I work 3 days a week and make over 20 an hour and make way more then Doordash. Good luck to all who still dash.

Girl, I feel your pain. My life "turned upside down" with my Doordashing when I was mere days away from getting the continual "Dash Now" opportunity. But... instead of me getting to dash anytime, DD implemented the new tier program, and I fell short of getting Platinum status due to the 1 measly fact that I only had 87 dashes during the previous 30 days instead of the required 100. At that point, I had a 4.97 customer approval rating... and an 87 percent acceptance rating... and a 100 percent completion rate... as well as an 86 percent on time or early rating. Needless to say, there's rarely ever any decent times available for me on the schedule. It is very disheartening.

The tier program is my area also. DD is crazy. We get silver at 50% and can schedule up to 6 days before.

You can shop and pay at any dollar general store, I did it today, when you get there, the app will prompt a message if your at the store, and you tap yes.

Not sure if anyone already mentioned it but you can shop at a different dollar general than the one they are sending you to! You just click that you are there and follow the prompts until you get the start shopping.

If you think you might forget or be late, then schedule a short dash for your first hour, say 10am to 11am, then a longer dash, 11:30 to 2:30, then 3 to 5 and 5:30 to 8:30 or some such. 1/2 hour break is really only 15 minutes because you can start 15 minutes early for your next dash. That way you don't lose 10am to 8:30 pm just because you forget or are late for 10am. Also, if you pick up an Uber during your DD schedule and it takes longer than the 1/2 an hour DD pause, you don't lose the rest of your DDash day...

The Tier System is on purpose. Too many low or no tip deliveries getting done. So make it to where drivers have to take those orders or they don't get to dash. It's driver punishment for not doing them.

Been dashing full time for 4 years, tried earn by time for a couple of hours when it first came to my area over a year ago, didn't care for it. Fast forward to now, since DD started the tiered system and being able to 'dash now' is a must have, I'm totally sick of playing the Acceptance rate game to keep 70%. so I tried EBT today all day, was happy with the results. It's nice going without the stress of playing the constant AR game. Small sample size but totally worth it if it works out.

The dollar general cashier was definitely saying it's funny people doordash stuff from dollar general. Like just come get your little debbie snacks yourself.

After 2 weeks of having the app I finally have a day scheduled for next week and I’ll start my first dash!

Hi, MM! I was kicked off DD last year because my rating was low. I just refuse to take lowball offers😅. I just do Uber Eats and Grub Hub. I do Lyft every once in a while, when the other apps are slow... Slow and steady wins the race 💪💯💞

I hope the youtube views makes up for the crappy week you've been having so far. I just don't understand ordering delivery, and not tipping decently, but I waitressed for several years, so I always tip well. I'm pretty sure most servers and delivery drivers tip well too.

You just need to schedule a week ahead. You can cancel hours with out penalty if you end up not being able to do it. If running late just start dash and then put on pause.

Good point about Uber Eats. I thought I wasn't getting good orders because I dropped from Diamond to Platinum because I was working more on Doordash trying to maintain Platinum on DD.

Yeah, you are so lucky to be in an area that has Dash Now available majority of the time and to schedule for the times you want to work. I have to drive an hour about, to Dash when I want to because it's available near the biggest city where I live. Like Tampa/St. Petersburg. I live right next to the 3rd biggest city in my state. To where, it rarely has the Dash Now available and it's at odd times and it's only for an hour. I am at 66% AR and I need to be at Platinum for my schedule to work. Also, I don't see as many as low orders that you do. That's why I am at 66% but I was hovering around 75% for a long time but I am struggling with getting 100 orders with Dash is not available like 99% of the time. That's why I need to drive an hour to the 2 bigger cities east and west of me to make money and be at $20/hr to $25/hr.

In my area it’s so hard to dash now or schedule. To be in the gold tier you have to have 80% AR and to be in Platinum you have to have 80% AR and 150 deliveries. I’m in the Silver tier, we’re supposed to have “priority access” to schedule but every single day has no options for my town. The tier system is such a scam 😒

When your acceptance rate goes upside down because of bad offers means DD has replaced you with someone else.(another driver). Acceptance rate didn’t help Pedro and it doesn’t matter. Keeping the flow of new drivers coming in is what is important to the algorithms

Ive learned from chuck at dashing across america you can shop at any doller general. Or same store if theres one closer to you or the customer. I shop at different dgs or stop and shops then it tells me to go to all the time. 9 times out of 10 theres another location closer to them.

I can understand why your acceptance rate is low, my area currently gives decent offers. Lowest I take are 1/1 mile ratio and acceptance 85% I’m just lucky. Learned the areas not to dash.

I would be very leery of when the text says to hand it to me and help me bring it into the kitchen. I mean that could be a crazy lady with a knife or a wacko guy. That should be a no way Jose. In today's world you can't do something like that. You don't know them

This is how it’s been in my area in central PA. They introduced the new tier system a couple of weeks ago and now, most of the offers I receive are upside down and/or miles out of my zone with dead miles on the way back. I went from an above 90% acceptance rate to below 50% in a few days. Also, although the estimated wait time will say 2-6 minutes and the zone will be busy/very busy, I’ll wait 20-30+ to get an offer (in which case I end the dash). I know someone who is a platinum driver and she said she’s also receiving a bunch of upside orders and had to wait 45 minutes for an offer. She called DD and they said, “well there are a lot of platinum drivers…”. They’re clearly doing something, we just don’t know what yet.

I’ve literally never had Dash Now unless it’s busy. Consistently have 15-30% AR. I have always had to schedule ahead; but I did lose the earliest access to that with the new system. Now I get access at midnight instead of 3 pm which is a huge hassle! 😢

I am a people person I was a cashier at Walmart after I retired…I loved it till a lady tired to get me fired for given her Penny’s instead of a nickel which I didn’t have . That the day decided I worked to long to put up with the crazies . I don’t blame you for not taking the small orders . You can't make it work below 70%. I was the first market to get platinum. It's a nightmare below 70%. All you're going to get is trash. Oh gee you're at 10%? Yeah I declined every order I got the first day platinum dropped. And the next day I declined everythinf. Every single order was trash. Every order

Not sure if you are up at midnight, but we have had the schedule notice here for quite some time and at midnight you can schedule almost anytime frames you like, up to 5 days ahead of the scheduled date

Being able to schedule is the best but I also appreciate the dash now lol 😂 yesterday my last order was a ship and deliver form the store to a house I’ve been to before they’re nice and top well. The offer was 33.23 for 5 miles and I was super appreciative. It was slow before that but I still almost hit my normal pay for my 4 hours

FYI. You can shop at any dollar general that is better for you

I can only schedule for 30 minutes or 1 hour time slots as well, whenever I do decide to look at the dd app. It's been like that for me for months. Rarely is there a "dash now" option and that's usually at night when I'm done for the day. My AR is 34% and I've done 30 deliveries in the last 30 days. More than I thought to be honest.

Mile Baiting!! Happened to me today on Spark. I accepted a shopping order that was going 4.2 miles the GPS took me to the wrong location, I had to put the address into my Apple Maps manually which was another 3.2 miles.. once I got to the house, I had my gps take me back to Walmart where I was, 7.4 miles! 🙄

I’m so glad Shipt got rid of acceptance rates. It was so annoying!

The mileage I see on the DoorDash offer screen is as-the-crow-flies. The map will show the route, including diversions to get to a bridge, but the mileage won't include that. My home zone is trisected by rivers, and in some cases the bridges are up to 6 miles apart. This is a problem on a lot of apps. For example, the McDonald's app thinks the closest McDonald's to my home is just 1.2 miles away, but it's nearly 7 miles because I have to have a bridge to get there. In fact, the McD's app shows three McD's closer to me than the one that is actually closest. I see the same problems with DoorDash orders to chains with locations on both sides of rivers. The real bummer is that even if the money is good enough to make up for the distance, the deliver-by times assume I'm able to fly over the river, so it'll hit my on-time metric, potentially leading to a contact violation if there's too much traffic at the bridge/choke-point.

Today was busy for me on Uber, but a few of the deals that flashed were swallowed up by other drivers, it's a hard life but I make it work 18 deliveries today

so the 'schedule now' would appear when the area is not busy. try driving to an area/location that's busy and the 'dash now' button would appear. also, have you tried using the dash per time? it pays you an amount per hour instead of per order so it pays a lot more. the 'dash per offer' is totally ridiculous, the pay is so low. one more, why is your acceptance rate so low? i have a 100% acceptance rate and i always use 'dash per time' so i get a guaranteed pay per hour that i drive.

I'm a new dasher and I live in the Houston metro. My DD screen is always grey and says schedule and the scheduled times available are in the middle of the night. I can't and won't do that so how does a new dasher get a chance to even be on a top tier or at least get better hours to schedule if we are not even giving the chance to dash. This is really really bad like a couple days ago it finally said dash now but I had to decline so many offers because it was giving me offers for 20 miles for $4.50 like who's gonna take that. Any tips I would appreciate it I'm on a wait list for all the shopping apps. I'm beyond frustrated 🥴😔
