When you text the customer for a substitute and they don't answer back or issue a substitute, continue shopping until you are done and if they still have not given a substitute or texted back. Click check out and pay for the items you got and deliver it.
Also before you go out look for promotions for all your restaurants especially the chain restaurants. Like mcdonald's and so forth because because they can have promotions for new Clientsfor certain apps And that can make your tip go Down because of the promotion

I have the huge GH red bag that fits most pizza. It is hard to finagle sometimes. I just got an email that says I am prioritized for shop n pay. I guess I’m ‘special’. HA. If the pay is right and it’s easy in and out in CVS. I’m game. 🎉
Large Order Program Fun Fact. I never got an email about it. I never signed up for it. But I’m in it. The large orders are random and you maybe only see a few a day, if that. Im in Des Moines and doordash isn’t as big here. So in your area they maybe more. Doordash just put me in it and I’m ok with that. I think it was because I use catering bags for grocery orders. I think that’s how it started by people leaving that information in my dasher review.
I love the Sam’s bags, for shopping 🛍️ the grip handles work well-like a belt thing. I use a cooler usually. It insulates hot food, throw ice packs in, and it keeps cold 🥶. Would probably work well for you in Florida🌴🐊 with the extra heat 🥵
Point Pick Up has come to my local supermarket. So these days I’m doing more grocery deliveries. Food delivery has slowed way down. Plus I’m sure they are sending the quality orders to the new drivers.
They need to pay more for shop orders. The Winn Dixie, no delivery wasn’t horrible, but some of those shop orders need to pay more. I couldn’t handle all of the day driving, parking, & apartments where you are in Florida 😂-especially, the pay on some of those. I take orders probably totally opposite of yours☺️.
I took a no tip order because no other orders. She said for hand it to me so though for sure would get cash tip. I know I would be embarrassed to not tip and have someone hand me the food.
No, it doesn’t mean that. It just means that there wasn’t a dasher in the LOP who was available or willing to accept that order. Im in the LOP in my market and you have to be invited and approved. It’s a whole process that took about 2 weeks before I got the congratulations email. I would have declined that order due to distance, the size of the order, and the low payout. That’s why it was sent to her, because others likely declined it.
Yeah, that's the worst time to call....when the app crashes...because that's when everyone is calling in like we are. So the call volume is sooo high, it's hard for them to answer.
If they don't have the item they're looking for and they don't respond, I just get whatever the closest substitute is. They can deal with a refund if they need it. Lol 😂I just screenshot the conversation so I can prove that I tried to contact them. If there's an issue.
