I think if you're not a Lions fan, you are greatly underestimating how convicted the front office was, dan campbell and his coaching staff was when they drafted Jameson Williams, he was coming off an ACL, and then the suspension, so some bad luck. But jameson is 100% who they thought he was, and proved their convictions, and now you think theyre gonna go away from him and its a fluke? You're gonna be sadly mistaken. Jameson williams is a WR1 in all leagues moving forward.
Matt: I'm suggesting this out of kindness. You blurt your opinions before your guests are done speaking theirs & if you read Sal's expression when you do this, he's aware of it. This needs to change. I would suggest doing this & getting it out of your system before the start of these. Compare how Nate is when hosting if you need to, but when you get This Excited you blurt. Speaking our emotions _is_ a human thing. Figure out how to get this out of your system beforehand though because, well some people have said things in the comments section so I'm not the only person to notice.
My favorite Watson play was down 3 scores he gets 5.5 seconds to throw the ball...and takes a sack...on fourth down. He's complete and utter garbage. It's hilarious hearing people defend him.
I was low on him out of the draft bc he would skip passes off the dirt in college and often leave too much hang time on the deep shots. His arm just looked kinda weak, plus it was an elongated release that led to quite a lot of interceptions. I felt stupid about that evaluation as he ascended to one of the top QBs, but now it's like he's reverting to everything I thought he was as a prospect and somehow worse.
Easy winning IR rule: If a dude on your team gets designated IR/O, he can be placed on your IR spot. If he got hurt anywhere else, you can add him but you can NOT put him you YOUR IR spot. End of story.
LMFAO! "The high-water mark of Jameson Williams"... You don't understand why the Lions offense is so good because you don't understand that they grow and evolve and change. Jameson Williams is going to eat all year. Dumbest take ever.
Eh - there's probably a middle ground that's most likely. Is he going to be part of the offense more this year than he was last year? Yes. Is he going to get a >40% target share the rest of the year? Absolutely not. There are far too many mouths to feed in that offense that are incredibly skilled playmakers to believe Williams will feast like this all year. Very, very high probability that this was his best game all season. And that's coming from someone who's super high on Williams and the Lions offense.
@@brett4932 That's fair-my bullish case on Jamo has always been that he doesn't require volume to be effective. As we saw, if he can just touch the ball 5-6 times, that can get you home.
@@CJStew06 That's certainly an archetype that fits his game. But from a fantasy perspective that's really the type of player you don't want to be starting week to week because they are so boom or bust if the volume is that low. Think back to someone like Will Fuller. His spike weeks were insane and his floor was 0. And you legit never knew when to start him ever. Not saying JW will be that because I think this staff is smart to give him increased volume now that he's healthy and has a good grasp of the offense. But IF he remains inconsistent because that volume drops, he's probably a sell high guy. A guy that you package with another dude to tier up, etc.
@@keithgrider4914 He had 24+ PPR points in most formats. That's difficult for most WR1s to repeat multiple times in a season. It's more probable than not that this was his ceiling game. Still a good player to have, but you simply cannot expect this production to be the norm.
