Title: *Data Navigation with Pathom 3*
Speaker: *Wilker Lucio*
Wilker Lucio (github.com/wil...) will be presenting
Phantom 3 (github.com/wil.... Pathom way
provides a new way to think about and manipulate information. It both
works for computing information locally or integrating data in a
distributed architecture.

Wilker Lucio works with Clojure since 2014. Worked at Nubank, where he
used Clojure to integrate data from hundreds of services at
once. Active contributor to open source in libraries like Pathom and

Adding few time stamps for self-reference : 25:18 - (defresolver tweet-url ....) 25:43 - wow! how we write output pattern the function, was simple. Now yk why we need 2 input fields, screen-name & id. 34:25 - example of data retrieval. 35:30 - start code 36:06 - fetch dezired op from given ip field. 37:18 - pictorial representation : calling reolverss in a nested fasion,

whow, the microservices "jump" has blown my mind ... - I thought he's gonna mention it as something aspirational, or "hey people, this is a good way to do it" ... but nah .... he has a full on implementation O.O - Now people just need to write an optimized version in Rust so they are happy with caching and speed and whatnot ... and at first glance it feels like the whole mess of microservices I've always seen it as is over O.O

Thank you so much for this. How can I connect a sql database to pathom? I am having trouble finding working examples. How do you recommend to feed data into Pathom?

Hello Justin, sorry the delayed response, I don't get any notifications here 😅 I personally haven't used much Pathom with SQL, but I know people using it by defining specific resolvers for specific queries/entity access, its a manual thing but seems to handle the job. There is also the Walkable library, but unfortunately this is not integrated with Pathom 3 (the author has plans, but its been on hold for a while). Feeding data to Pathom is always creating more resolvers to map your attributes, in the end this is about designing your attributes to enable navigation.

Thank youu! Can someone please share the link to the source code?? Also using Pathom UI is optional right because it can be checked and Repl itself?
