Are you tired of Google Analytics 4? It is frustrating & seems too limiting, right? Especially for e-commerce. It's really hard to get anything useful from it... Well, I'm creating an alternative to Google Analytics 4. It's made for e-commerce by e-commerce specialists. TLDR - Weekly email reports based on your role - Ecommerce specific reports (e.g. Products bought together, retention cohorts, bestsellers & many more) - Clear metrics & easy to use (designed for non-data people) - Works on top GA4 infrastructure (datalayer) - No cookies & choose US or EU hosting Join the waiting list & be the first to use it. -> clicksdontlie.com/ecommerce-analytics?comments

Amazing, Rob This is GOLD! How do you decide on the metrics to include in these different reports?

Thanks! I think it's easy to decide if you use GA4 for a month or two. Just remove the metrics you never even looked at. Usually you are left with just a few crucial.

At 7:55 there's a record of: "Google Unisex Eco Tee Black" with 0 views, 4 added to cart, but 118 items purchased. I see this in my reports too. What's the explanation for this? Doesn't make sense to me.

I think it's just a naming difference between different pages. So on the product page (data layer) it's named something like "Google Unisex Eco T-Shirt Black" and on purchase (datalayer) it's named "Google Unisex Eco Tee Black". I've seen this before with my clients as well. You either make sure it's all exactly the same, or you can view the same report by product ID. Usually, those are the same.

I think tha you miss a very important one: cohorts & advertising

I agree about the ads, should have included that one. But cohorts… in my opinion they are highly unreliable because of cookies dying. Or have you found them useful?
