Data Visualisation Tools With DuckDB & MotherDuck - Hex/Preset

@@motherduckdbThanks for replying. If I connected say 4 duckDB tables to my powerBI Desktop app and the web server with the duckDB tables went down for 2h. Would the BI dashboard also break or is it now stored in PowerBI? And once a reconnect happens and the duckDB tables get batch recreated then it would simply update the dashboard with the latest data? If so this is an absolutely perfect solution. If the embedded dashboards break if my duckDB tables crash that would be really bad and a physical OLAP instead of virtual duckDB one would be better. Ideally I would actually want to delete the duckDB tables from the backends memory after they are ingested by PowerBI to free up resources. Otherwise if 300+ tables were computed by the flask application it would probably crash my web servers business logic. A better approach would be to generate and delete the duckDB tables in batches at like 2-5am in the morning when server load is low.

Hey there! We are sorry for the inconvenience of breaking changes due to the upgrade. In Hex, the pre-installed package is indeed still under `v.0.8.1`, but you can upgrade this one manually by yourself using `!pip install duckdb==0.9.1` For Preset, hopefully they will migrate soonish. We are actively working with all of our partners to make this migration as smooth as possible and hopefully without breaking change in the future :)
