The thing is that literally nobody who actually gets accepted and does work would tell you it's a scam. You do the work. You log your time based on which task you worked on and how long. Then after a week you can cash that out to Paypal. Been doing it for 6 months. Basically the negative reviews boil down to: - People who got removed from the platform for whatever reason. These people are almost certainly people who were either doing lousy work by not reading instructions, or overbilling time. - People who never got onto the platform Basically, pettiness. I've worked on a ton of different projects. There's been a few where the instructions were bad or confusing, but generally they're good. What I will say though, is that: 1 - They continually tell you to log time for everything you do that has anything to do with working. They don't nickel and dime you. Every question I've seen asked (And it's a lot) about "I worked for 30 minutes on this task but it wouldn't submit and I lost my work." and the Admins come back and say "Don't worry go ahead and bill for the time." and they want you to bill for time you spend coming up with ideas or reading instructions or doing research. ANY time you are devoting your energy and time to the work, you bill for. The responses from admin have always consistently been in line with this outlook. 2 - When Worm says that the work is mentally draining, that can be true. But as you gain experience and get onto higher paying projects, you get a lot of them that really aren't. It really depends on what type of work you enjoy doing. I have projects where I am mostly fact-checking and editing responses, or coming up with prompts designed to trick the bot or get it to do bad things. The fact-checking ones can actually be really nice because you're not expected to be creative. There's a discrete workflow you follow, and I find that really is a break for me mentally. Then you can go back to projects where you're coming up with prompts and answering prompts and things. As you work on the platform and get more projects available to you, you have a ton of freedom with respect to what TYPE of work you're doing. The work seems repetitive at first, but it doesn't stay that way. I personally really enjoy doing Image analysis work. 3 - Lack of comms is absolutely valid, though as you work on projkects and talk to admins, you start to get a clearer picture of how they operate and what they're wanting you to do. But it's true you can get deplatformed at any time. My advice here is to be communicative with the admins. I screw up and make mistakes all the time, I will sometimes work on multiple tasks in a row and then realize I was doing it wrong. I always just message the admins in the task and let them know. I haven't been deplatformed. 4 - Amount of work can vary, but right now I have about 70 projects available and more work than I could possibly do My general takeaway has been that they are very fair about compensation, and they are very understanding when people screw up or make mistakes. Admins are pretty communicative in project chats and usually very frank. This is even moreso the case on projects where they use a Slack channel. I would say if you're halfway decent at google fu, coding, reading and writing, it's worth your time to do the assessment to get onto the platform if you can. A lot of the work you can actually do at a high level of quality while watching TV or something. Just bill for the amount of time that you genuinely think is fair. If you know a task takes you 5 minutes when you're devoting all of your attention, and you work while watching a movie, and there's only 5 tasks done when its over, bill for 20-25 minutes, not for the 90 minutes of the movie. As long as you're acting in good faith, you should be fine.

Even I have completed assessment but I didn’t receive any email yet about passing of assessment or the next upcoming projects. So when can I expect the mail from them?

@@thefusion637 nope, I completed everything on Feb 8/9 and nothing. I have also completed the assessments for Remotask, hopefully I have better luck on there.

Thank you! I’ve just had a look and someone who was travelling has said “I emailed support and they wrote back to say that they would mark my account incase of any issues”. So, I’d recommend you emailing them and letting them know, just to be safe as they will likely do the same, and mark your account just to prevent any issues. It sounds like you should be able to do it without issues though.

If you have passed the assessment you should expect to receive an email within two weeks letting you know that you passed, after that you should start seeing projects.

You don’t invoice the company, to log your time and get paid for the time you have worked, on the work on projects tab scroll to the bottom to the report time section, and select the project you have worked on and log your time there.

@@WormsWorld23 I've been working for them since the beginning of this year, had (and still have) a lot of tasks, in feb.2024 I made decent money, but the tax regulations in my country require thatif I make above ca. 800$/month I invoice them to document my source of income. The difficulty is that they do not share full information needed for the invoice anywhere publicly and they ignore my requests for guidance in this matter.

They aren’t a scam, I can promise you that. The people who claim that their money was stolen could’ve easily taken out their money every few days. I’ve been earning money for the platform and it’s been fine so far. You just have to be aware that it’s not a job you can rely on, as you might be kicked at any time, but they’ll pay you your money for as long as you’re on the platform.

You aren’t teaching the AI your own opinions and the projects have instructions for you to follow, so your own beliefs should not prevent you from working on the site, you should be fine.

@@dg5175They aren’t looking for your opinion; they’re seeing if you can provide an objective and unbiased response. Clearly you failed as soon as you got riled up about the content of the assessment (so ig the assessment weeded out the correct people). The book question is simply about whether someone who likes a specific book might like another book (so you basically compare the ideas, story, etc. in each of the books)… not that deep; and the one about Sam Bankman-Fried is seeing if you can write creatively. There are always multiple perspectives to things, but unfortunately, you let your own views prevent you from looking at the questions in an impartial manner.
